This is my 3rd EV and I haven't a clue about battery drain, never looked, don't care. Still can't believe these threads keep getting posted, there is no such thing as vampire drain, it's made up. Either the battery is self-discharging as all batteries do or something in the device is using the...
Agree 100% on Rivian, Tesla, Lucid or any other direct to consumer vehicle brand, don't buy unless you're close to a SC. If something goes a little wrong it's not easy to resolve without a SC close by.
FWIW, you don't have a lemon until they can't fix it generally. Parts break on all vehicles...
My R1T is pickup truck and makes a ton of noise compared to our Tesla Y. I also haul a lot of items in the Frunk, Bed and Gear Tunnel that shift back and forth making more noise and don't in the Y.
It was noisy when I test rode it and it's noisy today, so I knew 100% what I was getting into...
Stock Pirellis are (P)passenger car tires, while the Duelers are LT Light Truck tires, completely different tire pressure ranges and recommendations, ignore the 48 PSI as it's not apples to apples.
LT tires are a min of 35 or they can come off the rim and the pressure should be what holds the...
It's also why the person who hits another car from behind is always at fault. It's their responsibility to follow at a safe distance, not the driver in front.
Wife was in a three car accident rush hour side street accident where she was in front of a driver that hit her and another driver hit...
Front crumple zones did their job in the truck, same would happen to a Rivian if it rear ended someone in the same situation.
Almost everyone in my area (GA) drives while having their phone in their hand, or eating or shaving, or putting on makeup. Just nuts on the morning commute, people...
+1 on symbiotic and no-one read it. We'll see how this shakes out but bringing the 🍿 as it will be interesting. I live in GA, one of many Republican states using a majority the money that will be cut in this bill (Medicare/Expansion/Alt Energy Investments/etc).
I saw first evidence of this while driving to a local restaurant. Vehicle nav position was in a neighborhood a few hundred yards to my left skipping around the streets. Stayed way off for the entire trip, but was fine when I left after dinner.
Bluetti has one as well, a fan of their batteries that go from portable to power your home. Don't know alot about their fridge/battery system, but probably worth a look before you buy.
In the previous paragraph above the line it says
The vehicle is equipped with a NACS (North American Charging Standard) plug, located at the front left corner of the vehicle, and covered by a charge port door.
The horsepower numbers are relative and pretty meaningless except on paper. Neither can put down that power without massive wheelspin or traction control taking over.
