Take this with a grain of salt since we've learned Rivian is inconsistent and reps seem to have the freedom to make things up sometimes.
It cost me .25 hours book time to do the configuration, which should be included if you purchased the wheels from Rivian. .25 hours is the fee to hook up to...
It's nowhere near their target is the problem. We're down to what? 7% right now? Down from a high of 9% and still 1.5% higher than 2007-2008 and we have to go back to the 80s to be at the inflation rate we're at now. They want to see us down to about 2%. The problem is they always crash us...
You can't get the camp speaker to play off the Rivian, but Meridian can take bluetooth source.
The camp speaker can also take bluetooth source.
So you can utilize apps to get the to play off your phone at the same time. It's a bit of a pain but it could work.
I don't winch vehicles or do recovery, but I keep one of these in my truck for loading heavier items into the bed and plug it into the 120v. It's a completely different load level, I'm moving 500-800lbs not a 8000lb truck but figured I would post it here in case it helps.
VEVOR 3-in-1 Electric...
This actually makes it worse. If it was consistent then that means it's by design. If some are whisper quiet it proves they're inconsistent and there is an issue...but Rivian doesn't want to address it.
Mine FWIW sounds like I'm in a constant high wind situation. I find myself looking at the...
Maybe the owner pushed it too low on the battery and the R1T was just a tad too eager to get some juice
I can’t be the only one that sees the R1T chomping down on the EA charger as if it was Pac-Man.
Mira got eyes, mouth, come on!
This is a big possibility as direct sales still considers the manufacture as a franchisor/dealer. The bill actually calls the requirement out to have a dealers license which they may not have applied for. I didn't read the S-1 but that would be my guess.
To get a dealers license you needed...
That's not true...the law was changed years ago.
"This bill allows a manufacturer (“franchisor,” as defined in P.L.1985, c.361 (C.56:10-26 et seq.)) to directly buy from or sell to consumers a zero emission vehicle (ZEV) at a maximum of four locations in New Jersey."

One release too late. It's December already, way too slow with the updates here. Rivian needs to step up their game. Tesla's snow mode...err...
I'm getting a little tired of waiting for a flood mode. Not all of us live in a desert with lots of sand or in the arctic with a lot of snow. When...
My wife doesn’t like it when I try to cuddle with the truck, regardless of whether it’s the Lightning or R1T.
Maybe they’re both too large. I’ll try a Maverick and see how it goes.
Just did some testing in 30-35F weather traveling 60-90mph. Trip odometer showed an avg speed of 63 mph including the local parts over the course of several hundred miles.
22” wheels. All purpose mode. Regen default.
Temp at 69F/Auto = 1.5-1.7mi/kWh
Temp at 69F/Fan Speed 1 = 1.8-2.1mi/kWh...
The gear shuttle would help quite a bit, but I don’t know I would find it $1500 helpful.
As for the tie downs, that can’t be right. What’s the point of that slick tailgate extension if you can’t secure the load?!?
That’s why you just keep both of them. I haven’t been able to part with either and I always miss the one I’m not driving.
I’m continually surprised by people who don’t think the R1T is a capable work truck. It’s a phenomenal work truck. The gear tunnel holds ramps, short pipes, tool bags...
