This happened to me early on... I wish I could remember the specifics. I think it was either bluetooth or alexa or navigation that was stuck. Hopefully that gives some clues to troubleshoot if someone is currently having the problem.
I thought others said it was AC Delco that Rivian used? Similar smell.
I would be interested. Spokane would be most convenient, but could have someone pick up in Seattle, too.
For the people happy or unhappy with the sound, it’d be interesting to hear what kind of music they listen to. I think the audio in the Rivian is good, but can understand the subwoofer and immersiveness comments.
The market demand for EVs is high enough on its own, I’d way rather they incentivize charging networks… and if they really want to incentivize cars, it should be at very low price points (lower than today) or maybe material sourcing.
Still, charging network is already being outpaced by EV demand.
Mine is on .02 also. My understanding is that one isn’t available for broad release, but they pushed it to my truck to troubleshoot a GPS issue. What’s your vehicle in for?
I’m glad Rivian is taking a next gen approach to the car. Ford has worked hard to make the mach-e and lighting feel old fashioned. I dramatically prefer the Tesla and Rivian approach.
I don’t hate the idea of a double-press park option or something, but turning off bluetooth, locking the...

I’m not going to run cruise control in dangerous conditions…. but it takes way less than that the throw off the cameras.
Old fashioned cruise control!! In the heavy fog or slushy mix or even heavy bugs in the summer… the adaptive cruise control shuts off and complains about blocked cameras. It leaves me with my first car without cruise control of any kind in over 30 years!! Super annoying.
Polestar 3 looks super tempting… probably a closer match to an X, if you don’t care about off-road.
In any case, I love my Rivian and do care about off-road.
The Limestone could have been me. We often stop in Covington or Maple Valley on our way to visit family in Graham. Mine is easy to spot, thanks to the Cougar plates.
I saw a couple R1Ts on Snoqualmie Pass today, headed east. Always a surprise when you see more than one together… especially...
Almost everyone charges a monthly fee after a year for advanced features. Rivian has talked about that for things like hotspot. I think they could roll sound and RGB lighting controls into that package.
I still don’t know what nature sounds people were expecting for Christmas. Halloween was...
