  1. Anyone used a TeslaTap to charge on the road?

The TeslaTap site has included this disclaimer for a while: We have noticed that many of the Rivian and RAV4 EVs have an oversized ground pin and the TeslaTap MINI's are not compatible, you will need to use the TeslaTap 80 High Power. i have the Lectron unit, and it has been working well. Not...
  2. 6-20p plug with portable charger

Play it safe and get one of the other options on Amazon? Parkworld 60141 EV Adapter Cord NEMA 6-20P to 14-50R (ONLY for Tesla UMC or Other EV Charging, NOT for RV) (18 inch) https://a.co/d/77NSQhx
  3. Interior passenger-side fuse box

I also heard today that there was a second fuse box, but no info on where. No call back from Rivian yet.
  4. Interior passenger-side fuse box

So I called support, they were very nice, they dont have a diagram. They (say they) will call me back once they get the info from a Service Center. After contorting my body in ways I shouldn’t at this age I got a decent view of the fuses. I literally put the passenger seat all the way back...
  5. 12v capacity and fuses

Found it, but still no diagram? Blew the trunk 12v fuse.
  6. Interior passenger-side fuse box

I just popped the rear 12v outlet, am I just supposed to test every fuse? Starting with the 10A…
  7. R1S Chrome Delete

It was $350 list for the vinyl, but I got it for $250 as it was my third car through their shop for tint work in the last few months. I am normally Capt. Plastidip on my older cars, but I went big here.
  8. R1S Chrome Delete

I ended up just getting the vinyl done today while getting tint, I couldn't stand looking at it anymore! Some quick pics. (yes apparently my car matches my house...) !
  9. ⚠️ Rivian Recall: insufficiently torqued front upper control arm & steering knuckle fastener [official torque value = 90 lb-ft / 122 Nm]

They send it on a Friday evening before a long weekend because that's what the PR team tells them to do, bury the news! I aim to self inspect too.
  10. Powered 40 qt Frunk Cooler and 12 gal Water Tank w/ washdown sprayer concept (by @BoxGods)

@designers I assume you have already watched this video, but this is where my frunk heat concerns were raised before I got the vehicle, and proved true in my R1S when driving in anything over 80F ambient air temp.
  11. Rivian Maxtrax mounts installed

I see what you mean by finicky, I just test fit on the R1S crossbars, and the main brackets do have to be slid around a little to line up. I need to source the MKII pins, in 17mm, all the local places have the longer 40mm. I guess I could cut them down, but risk messing up the thread. The...
  12. CAT Off-Road Jack for my R1T (fit in gear tunnel & tested)

I do prefer bottle jacks for off-road, that said have you tried one with a puck, I can't quite picture that interface.
  13. Lost phone key setup…

Joined the club, luckily home so I have all the cards/FOBs. What are they charging for another FOB?
  14. Question about Rivian and ChargePoint

Interesting mine would never link, just checking it now and it's linked, however I now get the "setup a phone key" message, one step forward, two steps back. Guessing the app had an update?
  15. Question about Rivian and ChargePoint

Yes, need the Chargepoint App, on iOS it's a perfectly good app.
  16. Powered 40 qt Frunk Cooler and 12 gal Water Tank w/ washdown sprayer concept (by @BoxGods)

You keep hyping that thread, but have you read it? The high temp test was using the gear tunnel, not the frunk.
  17. Powered 40 qt Frunk Cooler and 12 gal Water Tank w/ washdown sprayer concept (by @BoxGods)

After some very basic experimentation I would bet a cooler (including this fridge design) would be fine in the frunk at a campsite, ie parked. In that mode the frunk seems to stay at a consistent temp. It's when you start driving that things fall apart, that frunk get's very hot. I'd have to...
