This *is* promising. Are the lights fastened in such a way that removing them would pose any difficulty? When you say 'right', do you mean driver's side (right when you're looking at the frunk) or passenger side (right if you're the truck)?
I'm pretty keen to throw this in as a small mod if...
Was told when I picked mine up that you can add in a request for a spare in a ticket too if your guide isn't responsive and there's a chance they can grab one from their supply lines for you via the service center (maybe, probably).
Howdy folks! Seattle area here, originally had an R1S on reserve but didn't want to wait and miss out on the 2022 tax credits, and wanted a vehicle in hand sooner anyway, so I swapped to a forest green R1T, which should be showing up in the next week or two here.
Looking forward to it, and...
Oh that's awesome, thanks. If and when I get the truck, that'll be invaluable. And I'll have to start hassling you (and maybe other Seattle area owners?) about places to actually use the thing - it'll be my first foray into autos that cost more than $20k, and it'd be fun to get out and actually...
Mine might just not have made the same train, as the one thing my guide would confirm is that it's still in transit as of 10/20. But thanks for the fun worries, I'll add em to the list :)
Anyone know what the Seattle/Bellevue SC delivery situation is like? There's quite a few R1s in their lot at any given time, but I'm not going to go sneaking around checking VINs to see if one of them's mine (not that I haven't considered it...). Like a lot of people, I got the Sept 30...
I swapped my R1S to a T in order to get a vehicle in the current year; that said, if anyone wants to give up their pre-March pricing spot on an R1S, just let me know and I'll cut you a chunk of the price difference as well as giving you right of first refusal if & when I sell the truck :)
Guide assigned last night as well here but for the R1T, asked to confirm configuration. I'd really like an R1S over the T if I'm being honest, longer term at least, but will gladly take the tax credits before they expire at the end of this year(?) on a T and take my chances 'upgrading' in a year...
For what it's worth, I spoke to a CS today who reconfirmed their goal to get delivery estimates out 'by end of summer'. So, they have a few weeks at most here.
Weird to see preorders into 2021 here. Makes me kinda want to swap my November(?) '21 R1S res for a T, if it'd come in the next few months instead of EOY '23.
I don't have that email as far as I can tell. For some reason I thought the 2H 2023 estimate was on the 'Configuration Summary' page. I'd just like an updated estimate so I can know if I should get something in the meantime. Kind of outgrowing the 1 car family status here.
I originally had a "2H 2023" estimation for my r1s order, but that doesn't even seem to be listed on the page anymore. Am I looking in the wrong spot, or is it just gone? Seems like a bad sign if so.
Was kind of curious, but from this thread it seems like I should assume at least some delay...
