Good question! I did have to cut a hole in the end of the grommet and I did lube the end of the wire. It also helps if you pull the whole grommet out first so you can pass the wire through while sitting in the frunk.

Great! I hope you like it. It won’t work in portrait as it is made it sit very low and have the phone hug the sides of the tray for support. I also have only tested this mount on iPhone 12 and 13 pro max with a magbak case. I’m not sure it will fit with other sized phones and cases.

Oh you mean in the tray. No, it’s too big to fit in it. I saw another guy put the 8” JL sub box in the tray but it barely fit and he said it sounded really bad. That’s why I decided to get the bigger sub and remove the tray.

Unfortunately not, it is too long. I’m sure you could make a custom box to fit in the factory spot but I wasn’t looking to spend that much time on it.

I installed the black emblem kit but the fully blacked out hood emblem is hard to see from a distance. I took it apart and painted the base with OE touchup paint and the logo all black. Now it blends in nicely! @AO_Pete Would you consider making these emblems for all paint colors?

I made this 3D printed mount to fit on the corner of the center console with 1/2" double sided tape. It holds the phone up nice and it is easy to view and use. It uses the standard 17mm ball and I used this Spigen mount. I've used it with my iPhone 13 Pro Max for about 6 months with no issues...

I’m really considering getting these KO3s because my scorpions are really loud after 15k miles. Did you notice any difference in ride comfort with these? I’m not as worried about range but really don’t want my truck to ride any stiffer.
