The problem I have is no matter how level the truck is , straight the jack is , when jacked up it will shift/slide sideways away from you a little bit. When using a bottle jack I have always jacked half way up for the shift/slide, lowered down, adjust the jack and then jacked to full height...
Come on folks, when did Rivian debut its vehicles? Two or three years ago? Therefore the Scout is a new American truck in 44 years. It’s pretty simple.
OMG! Rivian freaks get over yourself. Rivian released how many years ago? Scout is the next new American truck, plain and simple.
I am disappointed by the approach and departure angles, but I don’t do much hard off roading. Waiting to see what the Scot EV will look like. I also want a rear drive option.
Going by the tire calculators I used online when I looked for matching to the 21”, your 275/65/20 are not the same size as the 21”. 275/60/20 match the 21” tires.
Yes it has been suggest without reply. I have the OEM 21”. I bought 20 wheels and run a 275/60/20 tire that matches the 21” diameter. I do this for my winter/off road tires and run the 21” for long trips.
Do you like a clean Rivian or a dirty Rivian? I bought wheels from 1EV that moved the tire out even with the fender flare, 5/16" of an inch. Huge difference in how dirty the truck is. Looks good and works fine. Clearance of the break calipers has to do with the diameter not the off set...
Are you referring to minerals like cobalt? Batterie are being used in EV's that do not use cobalt. Battery research is on the hunt for the ultimate battery that reduces or changes chemicals and offers range. The Congo does have laws about child labor, but they aren't always enforced. China...
The Chelsea SC has been through the wringer. They service a huge area. They have always come through for me and have gone above and beyond to make everything right.
Mine shut down at 75 mph, coasted to the shoulder. Full system reboot and on he road again. I was on my way to have one of the computers replaced. No other issues.
Not saying the BMS stops degrading, it does not. What it can do is detect bad cells. In terms of who has the best BMS it comes down to programming. Most reputable companies will tell the programming.
This is why a properly BMS system
Is very important. When used right cells that are degrading and start having voltage issues or charging issues can be identified. Cells with different voltages will start competing with each other, causing over heating and failure unless controlled by the...
Failures are physical damage to the battery, improper charging, BMS that is not programmed properly or failed, improper matching of cells when building
the battery. Chinese batteries fail on most of these mention points.
Buy 20” after market wheels. 1EV has a nice selection. I have 20” and put 275/60/20 which are .1” smaller than the 21” OEM. I am trying out the Toyo mud and snow EV tire this winter. Simple Tire has them for $404 with free shipping. I use the 21” for long distance drives.
What if someone was parked in the charging spot and not charging. Or someone was in that spot and charging. Before you go off name calling, know the whole story. So maybe this HD spot was the last charging spot available. If so then the above rules state that you are allowed to use this spot.
