  1. $10K cash for any reservation with delivery date in the next 30 days...

I know this. But the OP seems pretty convinced they'd be able to do it... and it's certainly possible. I don't know that many people have tried.
  2. $10K cash for any reservation with delivery date in the next 30 days...

100% no issue with this post or making the offer. I'm one of the few people to successfully purchase someone's reservation, way back in November. Worked out great and I got my truck in May. That said, it was much easier then. You could easily change all the info through the site. It will be...
  3. $10K cash for any reservation with delivery date in the next 30 days...

We're talking about resale, and those options don't really add much to the resell value. Better off getting stock, at $81k and flipping for $110k (or more if you are in a prime area). That's $29k profit, plus the rebate, $36,500... far cry from your $10k. But yes, if someone is lazy, you're...
  4. $10K cash for any reservation with delivery date in the next 30 days...

$90k? That is certainly fuzzy math. I just bought one, in California with some of the highest taxes, and it was $81k after taxes. So that is an extra $9000 over your numbers. Plus if they took ownership and flipped it, they could get the $7500 tax credit (i know you are not supposed to get...
  5. R1T vs Hummer EV side by side comparison look

I think the Hummer looks unique and awesome. But to each their own. Love that the roof comes off. It is a bummer how inefficient it is. Though I also wish the Rivian was more efficient.
  6. Rivian R1T vs. Ford Raptor comparison side by side

100% I don't think the OP's pictures are an accurate portrayal. The second pic is probably the closest to accurate, as they Raptor looks a fair amount beefier there. I have both a Gen2 Raptor and just got my R1T last month. The Raptor dwarfs the R1T. When I see them both in my driveway...
  7. No Power Down (off-switch) - Just walk away

Or even better... maybe the current one already has the hardware needed, they just need to enable it, but are working out the bugs first. Dreams.
  8. No Power Down (off-switch) - Just walk away

The FOB does not automatically unlock the car as you walk up to it. Nor does it auto-lock as you walk away with the FOB. Only your phone will do that. I do feel like this was a miss for Rivian, they should have had the car unlock/lock as you approach/leave the vehicle.
  9. Any "March-April" delivery people contacted?

May 2019 reservation, switched from OC to BM yesterday, and got assigned a guide today, with a phone call on Monday. Happy to finally have some movement, even if it is without OC.
  10. ? New Rivian email: production sequence adjustments to maximize production output in spite of supply challenge

may 2019 reservation. Switched from OC to BM on Monday, and got assigned a guide today. Would definitely prefer OC.... but not willing to wait that long.
  11. ? New Rivian email: production sequence adjustments to maximize production output in spite of supply challenge

Me personally, they didn't try talking into anything. And plenty of others, they told vanilla should be ready within the hour... but then at the last minute told them, psych, vanilla is weeks away. Had they just said up front, that vanilla was weeks away, plenty of people would have happily...
  12. Any "March-April" delivery people contacted?

If they have a 1000 trucks available right now with BM... let's say those were going to to a lot of people with April/May deliveries, as they seemed to be up next. However, now a bunch of early reservation holders are switching from OC to BM... if Rivian decides to prioritize those people...
  13. Any "March-April" delivery people contacted?

i wonder how they are going to prioritize early reservation holders that now switch from OC to BM. There has to be a good chunk of those. If they choose to prioritize those... that could delay plenty of people in this thread.
  14. ? New Rivian email: production sequence adjustments to maximize production output in spite of supply challenge

Not quite accurate. More like them saying we're out of vanilla, but it shouldn't be long till we have more. Then them constantly saying, it's still being made, still on track to be ready soon. Then hours later telling you, jk, it's going to be days till it's ready. Had they been more...
  15. Ocean Coast & Forest Edge interiors delayed. RJ making announcement this week.

I think it's pretty mossy, but I liked it the best in person, and I've seen all the colors except limestone. Originally I had El Cap but switched to LG after seeing them all. I currently own a magnetic grey Raptor, so pretty similar to El Cap. You really can't go wrong with either, and the...
  16. Ocean Coast & Forest Edge interiors delayed. RJ making announcement this week.

To each there own, but I think BM is meh. No contrast whatsoever. OC looks way more luxurious. And I really wanted to like BM. FE wasn't for me, too much green. Definitely important for everyone to try and see them in person if you can. Pictures aren't enough.
  17. Ocean Coast & Forest Edge interiors delayed. RJ making announcement this week.

To each there own, but I had the opposite experience. I was really wanting to like BM, as I have a dog and I'm certainly worried about OC getting dirty... But seeing them both in person (I got to drive one), I found BM too monotone, and felt OC looked much more luxurious. Sticking with OC...
  18. April - May 2022 Delivery Club/Hype Thread

Definitely the Ocean Coast. I'm 5/19, in Southern California, and also crickets thanks to the ocean coast.
  19. 100 amp service not enough for 48 amp charging

You could get something like the Charepoint HomeFlex or the Juicebox where you can set the charger to only deliver 30A. Install it on a 60A circuit, that way you at least have the option to charge higher if needed. Just make sure it's not at a time that you are not running AC, oven, etc. Nice...
