    Yep which is understandable, I just wasn’t expecting all the other prices to rise with this switch like wheels, accessories etc. Figured because they existed during the pre March orders they would stay static but I guess this is the option at hand.

    And that’s my point, from some guys I’ve talked to about the exemption from an upped tax bracket, bc goes by CRA definition for weight, so if it’s anything like the lux tax definition, then rivians also exempt from the 10% pst.

    I gotta call up the cra about this but I think the Rivian is exempt from the upper bracket as its a bit heavier than a 3/4ton

    Guarantee a more road oriented set of tires on 20s does better, most likely comes down to rolling resistance.

    There won’t be a lux tax on the rivian afaik because it qualifies as a 3/4 ton, thus it won’t be defined as a passenger vehicle.
