If accurate, my date moved from July-Sept 2023 to Oct-Dec 2023. Before the 15th I changed from 21" wheels to 22" sport. Still OC interior and Forest Green exterior.

I used Dave with Noble Electric. +1 (303) 803-8211. He did my Tesla Wall Charger. I think he did a fantastic job. Mine was more difficult as my panel was full. He had to add a sub panel from the main and relocate 6 circuits to it in order to make room for the 60A circuit to the garage, then...
I used them just a couple of months ago for a Tesla Model 3 and had a great experience. No complaints at all from me. This was just the front, so the hood, fenders, external mirrors and handles. Everything has held up great and I also bought some of the Xpel Ceramic Boost and use that for a...
I like it. Looks really nice. Now I have something to look for while driving around the city. I just hope I don't crash while always being on the lookout for a Rivian!
I have a wild guess as to what may have happened. If I'm right, it could explain a lot of what has been observed. My speculation is: The initial registration form for pre-orders used an incremental ID. People got all excited about that and looked up their number to gauge where they are in line...
Here are some colors from the same perspective on a sunny day in Denver. I still love the FG. Sadly, I think the limestone was on the semi that just brought 4 more in that day and I just forgot to go walk over that way where they parked. Honestly, all of these are fantastic options to me. The...
Maybe somewhat related (or not), yesterday while driving there was a VW ID.4 next to me. I was slightly admiring it when suddenly their hazard lights started flashing and the horn was honking. While driving! The driver looked very surprised and confused. Gremlins in the machines, I guess.
It's definitely going to be AWS. Rivian has been clear so far, about using AWS for analytics on the vehicles. 700MB is actually pretty low for an EV/Smartcar. These things will be screaming data with more miles driven and use of Driver+...
First two videos have been outstanding so far. I like the continuous feel to them and not spending all the time on the gear tunnel. ;) Best sales pitch yet for the R1 and certainly getting my enthusiasm up!
I'm not sure if there is value or not, this is more of a personal question about EV, but as the owner of a '12 Yukon Denali XL, it would be interesting to compare the R1 and another large SUV (probably not truck since they tend to have heavy leafs) going up I70 from 470 to Floyd Hill. The Yukon...
I'm super impressed with how well everything worked for being a rapid-shoot video! The under seat storage, the spare tire cover, nothing seemed to hang up at all, which to me, is a good sign. Plus the FG just looks super nice. My R1S was originally configured with FG and OC. Love it.
I think one pedal driving on snow and ice would be nice to know what it is like. Do we need to manually turn down the regen to not slide? (This may be my lack of any experience in an EV showing through)
How is the roof in Colorado sun?
Thank you!
I have it as:
48,000 pre-orders by Sept 30, 2021
Based on their other statements, they have built 1410 vehicles in 2022, up until March 8th. That is 21 per day and slightly higher if you exclude Sundays.
It seems like Rivian is rolling pretty strong on R1T output right now. Might make sense to keep that momentum up at the moment and stir up a lot of interest from the public.
Or maybe they are working on squeezing a few more cells into the R1S to get the range up to 350 miles, since the 5 seater...
I'm pretty sure there are no issues with break-in. I just thought that concept too funny to ignore! Even ICE have been pretty much break-in free for years, due to the tolerance of manufacturing. If there is a period, it would be in the manual (I hope). That's my opinion as a nobody, and I'm...
VERY IMPORTANT!: you must do a proper break-in of the motors to ensure they live up to your expectations. You must keep the R1T under 50 miles per hour for the first 500 miles. Try to vary your speeds, but no hard acceleration!
Only if you follow these directions exactly will you be guaranteed...
