A dealer with only a week lead time? (Said in a Ron Burgundy voice…) I don’t believe you. ?
The only thing that makes an argument for the locally owned dealership model is at least at my Porsche dealer, I can directly communicate to my SA any time I want via call or text. With Rivian, I have...
You at the Austin SC? That’s my exact story and I’m losing my patience…it’s absolutely unacceptable for my car to sit for more than a week without even being looked at. I understood and agreed to several days but not a full 7 business days.
Are there pictures in any of the 109 pages here that show the width of the running boards with the doors open? Bonus points for video or pics showing how a normal foot fits across it when being used to step up / down?
I’m about to send off my original all weather mats (black logo) for return and swapping for the yellow logo ones (already shipping to me).
I’ll let you know - but my rule is if I don’t receive the credit in 7-10 days after the package has been signed for by the warehouse returns team…“Hello...
I have some strong opinions on Rivian’s PDI process. Ultimately I do feel bad for the SCs as I think the factory is pushing a lot of the QC that should happen there onto the SCs. They could have their process significantly improved but I don’t believe they’re getting the support from corporate...
Discount Tire is a great business with generally very friendly and helpful team members.
But I don’t take my cars there. Their business model = fast service. I’d prefer someone take their time…too much damage seen from forced expediency.
I’m surprised Rivian is choosing Discount, although...
It’s just that little “extra”. Certainly agree the Rivian mats aren’t the best, but they do fine for me here in Texas with occasional rain and dirt, so I enjoy the OEM look that isn’t super intrusive.
Certainly for someone that needs more protection these aren’t really ideal.
Will do. It’s funny, I’m used to being able to simply text my service advisor questions or requests in the P car. With Rivian, it’s a little bit of a chore…. Call 800 number, ask to speak with local service team, make up some reason why I should be transferred to them rather than letting the...
I doubt it. To be fair, I mentioned it in passing and it’s in service for something unrelated. But you can bet after this I’ll ask for them to ride with me when I pick it up and I’d also like to test drive another R1S to compare.
We’ve had our R1S with 20” ATs for a month now (1300 miles on the odometer), and just dropped it off for service this morning and received an R1T on the same 20” ATs (2100 miles on the odometer).
I immediately noticed how much more comfortable and less noisy the T is. The best description is...
I’ve been staying positive for a while but I may be starting to put on that same tinfoil hat too…
I just can’t believe they would prioritize my more costly, lower priced quad motor R1S over the newer options for people paying more…I’ve started keeping my eye out on auctions for the R1S
