Kyle from OOS suggested it likely has a front locker, didn't say anything about the rear. Elon mentioned in the presentation, but wasn't very specific, so who knows yet.
Yeah I'm thinking either the rear seats will be close to the floor like in my Model 3 to get enough headroom, or the seats will be a reasonable distance off the floor (like our trucks), but have minimal headroom.
Found another post from 2021 about it doing something similar to the Model X...
Decided to sleuth around a bit to try to answer my own question: surprisingly little out on there on this "minor" detail!

Random thought occurred to me after being inundated with Cybertruck posts on this forum (and everywhere else) the last few weeks - I haven't actually seen any video of people opening the doors... anyone seen how this is accomplished? Is there an actuator that slightly pushes the door open (like...
I expect it will be similar to the other 4 models Tesla builds right now; ie it isn't a GOM; it is instead a more granular representation of battery capacity rather than %. Each km of range is equal to a static value of Watt-hours (~142 Wh in the case of my 2018 Long Range RWD Model 3). The GOM...
I've seen my battery several times in the last few weeks below 50F (but above 35F) and the R1 hasn't conditioned the battery, but other times it has, so I'm saying that there seems to be other factors that Rivian programmed into the vehicle that determines when it will condition the battery.
I...
I don't think it is a hard floor on battery temp where it starts to heat using the motors; I've seen my pack as low as 2C without it engaging the motors to preheat, but I've also seen it kick in preheat as high as 10C. I haven't figured out rhyme or reason for this yet.
I was annoyed about this change on my May '23 build too; I use a rear-view camera monitor (feed from my travel trailer) which requires a 12v plug. I bought an adapter that plugs into the USB-C port. It works, but running the cord to the centre console is not ideal.
Yikes that's expensive! I'm heading to Canmore in January, but not as far as Calgary. Hopefully they add Magic Dock so I'm not entirely relying on Electrify Canada when I'm there.
Yeah I've noticed that the "Range at 100%" doesn't line up with the "Towing efficiency" - it also doesn't reset together, which seems odd to me. For now I'm just using the latter and ignoring the former.
Did you go into the truck to have it turn 'on' at all during this time period?
I received the service 12v system a few weeks ago and submitted a ticket. Hard reset cleared it for me and truck has seemed to work fine since. Mobile service is scheduled to come Thursday to replace the 12v battery...
