I hadn’t heard anything about a Brattleboro RAN until a couple days ago on a thread about the West Lebanon RAN (soooo glad I’ll never have to wait at that terrible EA station ever again).
I went in the app this morning to try to plan a backup charging route to Cape Cod if my A2Z adapter doesn’t...
I just saw that yesterday! While I'm very excited to have that option for the return, it's only 60 miles south of me, so it would mainly help as a top-up on the way down, and likely a lifesaver on the way back up. The real benefit for me of having the adapter would be using the P-Town...
You should probably call customer service and check. When I did for my dad after the first batch of emails went out to people, they were able to opt him in manually, but I doubt they would have caughht it if I hadn't called them to check.
Yes, opt-in for my truck.
My dad never got his opt-in for VIN 5852 (and apparently, he wasn't the only person who should have but didn't). Rivian says he'll get the shipment confirmation when the time comes.
It has to be Strictly VIN, the more experiences I read about (like ours). Or, more likely manufacture date, to factor in R1S/R1T in a fair way.
I got mine used (Demo) from Rivian 3 weeks ago and just got my email last night. VIN 10264 here!
Our trucks may have been made on the same day with...
Wow, sounds like quite the adventure (and not the kind I, or more emphatically, my partner, likes to have).
I honestly planned to use the A2Z until one of our Tesla adapters shows up, then to sell while others are still waiting.
I’ll probably play any of the first couple trips we take...
Has anyone here compared these to Falken Rubitreks and/or Nokian Outpost nAT in a 275/65R20? I don’t see these two talked about much, but they are my current front runners for a good VT spring/summer/fall/early winter tire (maybe even all winter with the ones we’ve been having lately).
My...
Sweet hub bore caps! Are those custom? I’m considering the BR Voltaics at some point, but wasn’t in love with their logo on the center cap—your solution is a lot cleaner ??
Also, which mud flaps are those? I like how low profile they are.
I feel your pain. I’m going to Cape Cod in two weeks and supercharging would (will ??) make my trip down from VT way smoother (having done this trip, EA is terrible on most of the options on the way).
I really hope either my A2Z makes it, or (less likely), my dad’s Rivian issued Tesla adapter...
What’s your VIN and delivery date? I’m just curious because my dad has a VIN 58xx, June 2022 delivery R1T and never received the first email, but when I called Rivian CS for him they said he was supposed to get the first batch of opt-in emails, but that he was one of a group of people that...
Update:
My truck was picked up yesterday, and my work order came through today:
It looks like the initial quote I got was off by about $1k (for the worse, for me), but after adding up the cost of the parts and considering the fact that I may be the first general consumer to have this...
Which Roofnest model is this? I'm trying to decide between a Roofnest (Condor Overland 2.0?) and the iKamper Skycap 2.0. This one looks different than the Condor Overland 2.0 (maybe a thinner profile?) and looks like a good fit for the back of the R1T.
I have an appointment to get the job done next week. Nobody has quite been able to explain what they will/won’t be able to install, but it sounds like at least the metal and carbon underbelly—some say it won’t have some bonded component between that and the battery itself that factory RUS has...
I can directly text Brian at my SC (a delivery and mobile operations coordinator). He took over from his manager, Elaine, when she went on parental leave midway through my Demo R1T purchase, and I was introduced to both of them by my Delivery Guide Cassidy based in Normal.
I have had excellent...
I just took delivery of a 2022 R1T demo truck (VIN 10264) last Sunday. My father took delivery of his R1T (VIN 5852) in June of 2022. His truck used to be a lot clunkier and adjusted itself way too often (and inexplicably). The clunks seem to have been addressed by one or two service...
An unfortunate incident involving an ice patch by our Rivian wall charger and an Ioniq 5 with all-season tires resulted in a broken Rivian Wall Charger at my business (luckily just the handle/connector broke, and not the car's port). I decided that the Tesla Universal Wall charger was a...
Thanks for the informative read. I appreciate the historical context, but that doesn’t make it less frustrating that such inherently well suited places don’t host chargers in these very different times we live in—especially given all the incentives state and federal governments are currently...
I believe the Williston Supercharger is going to be available, so with the West Leb RAN, at least you should be able to make it up that far.
I honestly hope someone other than EA comes in with (truly) fast DC chargers. I’ve been burned too many times by shoddy EA chargers (slow speeds, faulty...
