I’m really disappointed launch mode still has a 111 MPH speed limiter on Gen1 quads. That was kind of the only point of it for me. I would love to see what a 1st gen quad could do without running into the speed limiter at 1000 feet. The launch feels soft compared to just pinning it in sport with...
I’m not sure why they’re so much cheaper. But I can’t see them wearing any faster than the scorpions and at 40% the price, they’re hard to ignore.
I’ve been keeping an eye on these as an eventual replacement for my scorpions as well. I’ve owned a few different sets of Nokain tires, hakkapeliitta’s and outpost’s. I really liked both of them and have confidence the One HT will be a good tire. Nokian has a good reputation.
The launch characteristic of the truck is significantly different between traction control on and even the mid way, reduced setting. Traction fully on is very soft off the line compared to traction reduced or off. If you have it off, and stab the accelerator, it feels like being rear ended by...
I owned a Platinum Lightning for 2 years and got my Quad R1T in September. People always ask which is better and honestly, they’re so different it’s hard to say which is “better”. Bigger, more comfortable, better storage and functionality? Lightning.
Better range, tech, UI, driving dynamics...
Am I correct the price has gone up almost $300 per wheel since June? Love the look and would buy in a heartbeat at the original price. Hard to stomach almost $1000 per wheel for an off road set.
Tuxmat are not fabric. They’re rubber. I’ve had them in 4 different vehicles. Also owned a few sets of weathertechs and I won’t go back. Tuxmats have been by far the best I’ve owned.
Still waiting for my R1T to arrive (I’m in Canada) but I’ve had windshield tint on my Lightning the last year and a half and love it. 25% on the front windows and 70% on the windshield. I definitely wouldn’t go any darker. I’ve actually thought of lightening the tint on the front windows a bit.
That’s true. But when you consider there are fewer than 500 RAN handles and 50,000+ supercharger handles in North America, you would think it would make the most sense to go with the grain rather than against it. Especially if you’re adopting their plug and getting access to their network.
I...
Way too many options. Votes will be wasted on locations/combinations that won’t ever happen. Mind as well add an option for a DC port on all 4 corners. Dual DC charging points won’t happen. RJ went on a podcast and explained why the port is in the rear. With R2 having purely RWD options, there...
