FWIW - I chatted with Rivian support yesterday and they said be on the lookout for the Tri motor in the shop. They didn't say when though.

This is incorrect. There were Gen2 Dual Maxes and Perf Dual Maxes in the shop last week. Hoping Tris make it to the shop in August/early Sept.

Hard disagree. I think it's the opposite. Get the most amount of range you can afford. Especially if you live in a cold weather state. You don't know what the Tesla Supercharger network will be like in a year from now.

Most vehicles don't have a giant light bar and oval DRLs. Doesn't the whole light bar and the non-turning DRL dim? I noticed this process the other day when a Rivian R1S was switching lanes going the opposite direction.

The pre-refresh process of dimming the DRLs when using turn signals is odd and distracting to other drivers.

Honestly that makes a lot of sense. The range on the Dual/Standard is very close to Quad/Large. I am guessing these will drop like rocks in value after 3 years.
