I miss my Limestone on Forest Edge šwhich they donāt make anymore! Glad to see forest edge is back. Itās very underrated. So sick of grayscale interior (and exterior) colors.
Back then, a lot of people actually saw an exact match in the R1 shop (inventory) and snagged it before their custom configuration being built. I was one of them.
I was in old orchard as well. Not much of a block party compared to Denver. More of just showing the cars. Maybe I arrived too late.
I was very impressed the scroll wheels on the steering wheel.
It is just the right size vehicle.
The horn is a little bit better than the R1 but still pathetic...
Iāve watched a few YouTube videos on the R2 but it looks like no one has tried the horn. Did Rivian put a proper horn on the R2? The puny horn was the one thing I absolute hated about my R1.
I think any electrified products from Stallentis post no real threats to Rivian.
Though I think people might cross shop the R2 with the Subaru Trailseeker and Toyota bZ Woodland twin. Iām kinda interested in the Trailseeker. It might not be as capable or has as much range but itās cheaper and...
Before 3/12, I told myselfā¦
-You donāt need the performance model
-You definitely donāt need the Launch Edition
-You donāt want Borealis
-You want to wait a year or 2 and get a used one later
-You might just wait for the R3
Today though. FOMO is real.
This. In fact I was waiting for an Adventure and then saw one exactly my configuration LE one week after having shop access. It was the most exciting time!
Youāre right. It just seems like a desperate attempt to steal some spotlight from the R2.
Driving a Lucid now, Iām not hopeful with their software at all.
Lucid also provided a lot of details on the new 2 midsize SUVs. Still donāt know what the car looks like though. Below are quotes directly from Kyle @ OOS in X.
Interesting they choose today for the reveal. It might compete well with the R2.
This morning I was able to be the first person...
I totaled my R1S last year. Switched to a Lucid Air lease. The car drives super nice and itās mostly quiet but thatās it. I canāt live with its software. Itās years behind Tesla and Rivian. I miss the seamlessness. Lane centering is still an option. So is a heated steering wheel. One year in...
Are you in the very front of the line? Iād probably buy a used car that holds their value well like a Toyota or Honda and drive for a few months until I take delivery of the R2 then sell the used car. Or buy a used Tesla for the time being.
