The R2 is surprisingly tiny compared to the R1. I did not think the R1 is that big of a truck when you compare to a say.. Tahoe.

I totaled my R1S last year. Switched to a Lucid Air lease. The car drives super nice and it’s mostly quiet but that’s it. I can’t live with its software. It’s years behind Tesla and Rivian. I miss the seamlessness. Lane centering is still an option. So is a heated steering wheel. One year in...

Are you in the very front of the line? I’d probably buy a used car that holds their value well like a Toyota or Honda and drive for a few months until I take delivery of the R2 then sell the used car. Or buy a used Tesla for the time being.
