My work was especially busy today so I didn't have time to check out the forums and some things I normally do at lunch. I did notice a lot of headlines going by on my phone and computer throughout the day for Rivian. Between the lackluster earnings report, the announcement of layoffs, the stock...
The R1S hauling all the ski gear today for five. Skis and poles on top, boots and jackets inside, and ski packs, snow pants and helmets/goggles in the frunk...
Spotted on reddit, maybe it's the refreshed R1S? The headlights and behind the c pillar make it seem legit, but bigger than I thought....

Saw this on the NBC nightly news and managed to track down the Saratoga county (California) Twitter account where it was originally posted. Looks like the latest storm dropped a tree on a yellow R1T :(
We got around to putting the cross bars on and adjusting our Yakima low pro 15 cargo box to them today in preparation for an upcoming ski trip and road trips this summer.
It went on without issue had plenty of adjustment for the claws to grab the bars. They don't close all the way as predicted...
RJ has previously been on the "How I Built This" Podcast it looks like they had him back on again to talk about Rivian and upcoming plans

Super happy to see Rivian doing so well, but can't deny I feel a little bit of jealousy when I rolled to the Costco/Target shopping center today and passed a grey R1T, a blue R1S, and then saw a white R1S parked in the lot... Anyone else?

Seems like good news if they are ready for Ford in February you would think Rivian by March or so. Since the hardware needs to be ready for Ford in February it would just be a software update for Rivian meaning one day we all wake up and have access...
Good tire pressure gauge is on sale today on Amazon for about 8 bucks. This one's nice because it takes regular batteries and not the button batteries which can be more expensive than the gauges themselves.
Limited-time deal: AstroAI Digital Tire Pressure Gauge with Replaceable AAA Batteries...
Not the first to post this type of a pic, but was fun taking the R1S on the back farm roads to the pumpkin patch this morning.
Definitely love the frunk for storing things that would normally require lots of backing in the back to keep from rolling around (when it isn't stuffed full of bags...
Some might remember any other thread I had my appointment at Gaithersburg in October converted to a mobile appointment.
Today was the day and the technician showed up in Arabian van. Most of the work was related to the recalls on the backup lights and alignment issue on the gate and door...

I know that bike racks were mentioned below, but just in case Yakima and Thule roof boxes are on sale at REI this weekend for 20% off.
Getting them at REI is a great deal because they are giant boxes of air that cost a ton to ship and you can ship them free to the stores. I prefer the Yakima...
I have used weathertech for years (since my first car.. and explorer in 1997) and have the first row liners for my R1S and have been pretty happy with them, but I'm tired of waiting for them to come out with the second row liners.
It seems like they have no interest in supporting Rivian any...
Ran across this license plate mount on amazon today, I hadn't see it yet. There used to be one from Muray creative, but I can't find the website anymore and they only show the tesla on Amazon. This one is similar to it and the snap plate, but I like the lower profile design and the aluminum...
Went on an Alaskan Cruise with the family on July 20th through the 29th and parked our R1S for the duration in a nearby parking garage. Had a great outcome charging it to 100% for the 30 minute ride, parked it with 90% remaining and returned to it with 76% remaining. Here are the details...
In the middle of a road trip right now in upstate New Hampshire. Got the update the night we arrived and have been running around into rural areas and city areas on the coast. I have to say things are definitely getting better in my opinion on the following

Nothing too special, but fun to load.up the R1S with the packs for a memorial weekend glamping run to Sky Meadows, park in delaplane, va. Props for a level two charger here, although we didn't need it since it's just 30 miles from my home. Got to use the wrist band for the first time for the 1.5...
Very interesting here. I'm curious if they are doing somenosftsare tricks here to get the rate or what.
If anything I'm happy to see the advancement to spur competition for all the other charger brands
