Absolutely. As much as I love my R1S, I would advise anyone would doesnāt have a dedicated L2 charger at home, to not get an EV right now. Range anxiety takes a backseat to day to day normal access charging.
Iām hopeful for an EV manufacturer that produces a nice convertible. I know, the drag is apparently really tough on the range, but for just zipping around town or short trips, a convertible will be great. I hope RJ is already working on this.
I was really loving the idea of Canoo, but apparently their management was incompetent and VW got their VERY similar van produced before Canoo could get going. Hopefully, some EV company buys up Canooās remains and fulfills the promise of this vehicle.
Normally, pardon the pun, I can get from the Chicago northwest suburbs to Springfield with 20-25% of battery remaining. A week ago with single digit highs for temps, I limped into the new RAN station with 4%. Thatās about 60 miles short of my destination. Color me surprised. Thereās a very nice...
Understood. Iāll toss this out there, though: In my humble opinion, as other EV companies come online and achieve profitability, the value of Tesla stock combined with his political affiliations and erratic behavior will pop the bubble of what I believe is an overvalued stock. That said, I wish...
Why does it have to be one or the other? There will be plenty of room for multiple EV companies, just like there have been many, many ICE manufacturers in the last 125 years.
Wow. Lots of learning for shap today.
Also, foreign students pay full tuition. And yeah, they can and do go to public schools from kindergarten through university in virtually every state.
The more you knowā¦.
I think you meant, ā *who* are you talking about?ā
Itās interesting that you decry wasteful spending from the government, but also criticize my person sacrifice to send my children to a religious school. Now, if you want to talk about how public schools are funded, Iām all for that. Property...
Yeah, defense contractors who just happen to be set up in all 50 states would never artificially inflate prices, or skim off the top. Their executives are living hand to mouth.
And for everyone here justifying their support for killing foreign aid by saying that we should also cut defense...
Actually, you do have a choice. Iāve always supported my public schools with my tax dollars, but wanted my kids to have a Catholic education, so I sent them to parochial schools. And because I made that choice, I never whined about the costs passed on to me to fund public education. Itās my...
