That sucks to hear, I've had a disappointing situation but at least Rivian has honored their original lease deal (2023) with a newer model year vehicle (2024). I had to speak with quite a few people, they missed a few phone calls, wouldn't hear back from them for 2 days. Overall terrible...
So far this has been the worst drawn out experience of car sales and that includes having a salesguy yelling when I mentioned other dealerships had better deals. That was an easy hang up on the phone. This will be my 12th car purchase, so definitely not a great experience for the most expensive...
We're at the same point and agreement, your original messaging did not say what your current post says. No one said it's part of the due at signing, everyone said its tacked into the lease (aka the payments).
Either way the destination fee for purchase or lease is added to vehicle price...
It's in your Gross capitalized cost. Look at your Rivian account and look at transaction summary, it'll show your vehicle price and then a line for $1800 for destination fee. Or look at your order summary sheet.
You might as well wait till end of quarter for the deals if you can. This gives you the info to see what happens with the factory shut down and you can decide to deal with pre-factory shutdown vehicles or updated ones.
When did you get them to swap the wheels? I signed my final papers yesterday but still have the 20 inch wheels, wouldn't mind saving the $2500 per the 3 year lease but I bet it's too late.
That is the last document you see, almost a day or two before delivery.
Agree. It took me longer than I'd like to admit to realize it was a good deal compared to similar vehicles. Not having a car payment for 2 years will do that to you.
Yes/no. I had the price voucher due to my reservation from Sept 2021. The price voucher turns into that lease promotion (or...
Finally got my numbers for my 2023 R1S Quad, 36/12k. Unfortunately the vehicle is in California and not Ohio. Delivery not scheduled for a week out.
MSRP: 98,250
Lease Promotion -6250
Paint Discount -1750
Delivery Fee: 1800
Gross capitalized cost: 92,050.00
Capitalized cost reduction...
Are you a pre-price holder that got the price voucher? It's the reason a lot of the better lease deals are showing up vs yours.
Some people might be putting money down or credit score could impact your rates too.
Find the number for your local delivery center that is doing the delivery. They respond.
It's been 4 days since I've heard from my guide or sales person. Complete radio silence after texts, emails, scheduled a call using the calendar for the sales person and they didn't call, hit up general...
How much did you put in down payment?
Is the cap cost reduction the ev tax credit + $1000 reserve fee you paid already?
Also in Ohio, trying to figure out how much my due at signing will be vs what they are estimating. I was planning on putting 0 down and just paying taxes, acq fee, and other...
The crappy thing is about the lease deal for voucher holders who signed the binding agreement. All of these details were hidden by Rivian before clicking that confirm configuration button from the shop.
$6,250 is the lease promotion (approximately 6%)
$7,500 tax credit
$13,750 total
This is...
My understanding is the destination fee is included in each of the monthly payments ($50) cause it's part of the vehicle price on the transaction pricing summary.
Agree. Rivian is dropping the ball trying to be mysterious about the numbers for the purchase. Not being able to see numbers for the quote until after paying $1000 isn't the consumer friendliest and somewhat shady.
Vehicle Price should be the same no matter leasing or purchasing, just like...
