*Update 8/23/24 - As happened to others who initially had this issue, I tried it again today and now it's working, not sure what changed to make it so, but I'm glad it's resolved!
Updated successfully to 2024.27.01, and supposedly I should be able to tether to WiFi hotspot from my cell phone...
I clearly tried to push it as much forward as I could, but it still hits the liftgate, although barely. It could be that the calibration of the range of motion of the liftgate is not exactly the same for all R1Ss. In any case, I am happy with mine and don't think there is any damage being done...
I got the same message, so I tried another L2 48A charging station and was able to charge at 11kW. After checking with customer support for my charging station (Wallbox) they believe itās a faulty plug. I recommend you try a different L2 48A charger before you do anything else.
Just keep in mind that the frunk is way warmer than the inside of the car (in the case of the R1S) while youāre driving on a hot day. Probably OK for short rides, but if you have a long drive I would not store it there.
Either way itās at least the same load rating as the OEM tire. In Michelinās site they list it only as 119:
Looking at the spec comparison with the OEM Pirellis, one thing I like better in the Michelins is that they have a 14/32ā tread depth as opposed to 9/32ā.
I believe this might the one youāre referring to:
MICHELIN DEFENDER LTX M/S2 LT275/50R22 119/116S

I noticed the same thing regarding cancelling the cruise control (both methods you mention work just fine). Even though a resume might be marginally more convenient than having to reset it each time, most likely a separate button would've been required, so it's probably a good decision on their...
GPS and cellular internet donāt work. Thereās a thread about exported Rivians, there are quite a few (just in Costa Rica there are about a dozen). https://www.rivianforums.com/forum/posts/467102/
This is as close to vanity plates as we can get in Costa Rica (all plates are 3 letters and 3 numbers), and EVs get green plates (ICE plates are white).
My only issue with the XXL is the fact that the liftgate hits the back of it, but I am going to put some rubber piece or something like that to avoid denting the liftgate. I am using in the back mount, where I believe it is more aerodynamic. With regards to getting stuff in and out, the way to...
We have a group chat of Rivian owners in Costa Rica witha 14 members, but so far haven't heard of any of them driving down from the U.S. I do know of people driving from Guatemala to Costa Rica in an EV, so at least that part is doable, but not sure about crossing all of Mexico--that might be...
You canāt tell from the numbers you included in your post, but if you look at Gross Profit per Unit Delivered you can see that the situation has been improving quarter to quarter as they have increased production volume (economies of scale), supply chain issues have been improving, and they have...
