OP if you have another car with cables you can open the truck. Go to your hitch and you will see a little plastic cover on the right side. Take it off and connect the jump wires to another battery or vehicle. This will give you enough juice to open the doors or frank. Let the vehicle run for a...

  4. 2026 R2 spotted with roll-down rear window! (Aug 7) 📸

It looks like the rear window is down because it works like the Toyota 4runner which can be control from the drivers seat or at the rear. if that's the case that will be very cool option....no buffeting and also you can put long gear through we no issues. Very cool!

So I got the bad news yesterday guys that my high Voltage (main battery:angry:) is bad and needs to be replace along with the heater. Yeap I agreed to that up until today. My truck ended up in service since yesterday for a critical battery issue and it was showing the main battery pack. For the past 24K miles it was good (minus the 12v battery issue that I had 3 months ago!). If we just could import this Shark life will be...

  12. 48A vs. 40A for home charging??

So I when with 50A with a NEMA-14-50 connected to a Juicebox. I get 48v, which gives me 20-25 miles per hour according to the Rivian app. However, from 25% to 85% it takes 10 to 12 hours. Is this normal? or is this slow?

  14. Trailer Valet Blackout 10K Hitch (BSDH0030, Class IV, 2") on a Rivian R1T -- anyone try?

Pricey indeed! I have an all aluminum camp trailer but I cant even justified $350 (minimum) for a hitch which I take out when not using it. It is the best so if you want the best go for it.

  16. 48A vs. 40A for home charging??

I'm building my house and I'm going with the 60A circuit since is better overall from the beginning. Currently I'm using my 30A from my dryer and it gives me about 10 to 14 miles per hour so it will take the night (I start charging at 9:30 that rates are cheaper) to go to 85% in about 8-9 hours...
