I wonder how much the awning affects the drag of that otherwise slippery trailer design? I know the flush door handles on many EV's were done for a lower Cd.
To be fair, Japanese cars are not what they used to be with regards to reliability. Don't get me wrong, still pretty good...especially compared to the R1 but I know many folks that have had issues on their Toyota & Honda vehicles.
As with any one car household, be prepared if yours goes into service for multiple days. I usually rent a car or use mass transit, depending on my needs. Other than that, with an L2 charger at home you'll be fine!
Well, I've run Pirelli Cinturato All Seasons on my vehicles for years and have consistently gotten the stated mileage out of them...great tire for me. To each their own I guess.
Regarding tire wear with the OEM Pirellis, remember R2 weighs around 2k lbs less than R1 which will have a significant impact on wear. Also, this is going to be a high volume vehicle so tire manufacturers will eventually have more options for the 21”.
It's what makes Rivian so unique in both the ICE and BEV world with the R1S. The raw power of the Quad/Tri, can literally do the Rubicon trail stock and seats 7 in a very nice interior! There is no other stock vehicle on sale today that I can think of that matches this.
Do the R2's stay at these locations once the block party is over? I missed the Chicago one and am heading there in a few days for a work trip, was hoping to still sit in one.
Ferrari will sell every one of these that it produces, there are way too many people in this world with way too much money to burn. I do like the Digital that wants to be Analog interior though.
Yep, the 4Xe sold very well too. I was hoping they would of increased the range and power on it with the latest refresh of the Jeep Grand Cherokee but as you said...they just outright canceled it!
