    Well this is a timely thread. I was recently given Shop access and saw my exact config: LA Silver R1S with 21ā€™s. I snagged it and am now trying to decipher the VIN. Which is not that hard, exceptā€¦the last eight characters are: PN006303. Soā€” itā€™s a 2023 build, but the serial number seems crazy...

    This right here. Apples to oranges, based purely on body style and interior volume. Beyond that, most everyone who has compared them feels that the Rivian has far better build quality. Letā€™s admit that Elon played with pricing way too much and the Model X price was bloated.

    I too did a test drive of the R1S recently. Iā€™m much smaller than you, at 5ā€™ 8ā€ and 150 lbs, so I found all aspects of the interior perfectly roomy. Iā€™m not a pickup truck guy, though Iā€™ve owned several SUVā€™s, and have not ever owned a Ford as I can recall, but none of the interior components...
