SSD throughput is much higher than micro sd card. In normal dash cam you have one camera recording, with Rivian recording 360 view bandwidth requirement may be much higher. After reading few threads in Tesla forums, personally decided to go with Samsung T7 Shield SSD route.

Seriously doubt you would make any money. If you can claim Fed tax credit then you may end up with little profit. With current market conditions, my 2 cents just cancel and move on.
