Another update…after holding my ground with the SC they have finally replaced the CGM per the instructions of the regional service engineer. I pick it up tomorrow and I will see how it goes! Thanks to all for the insight and advice!
Good luck with the move!
Make sure you check out Punta Gorda when you get down this way…small town vibe, minimal traffic, beautiful waterfront and much more for your money than Naples! Although I may be biased For my hometown!
Here is the location info if you are interested. I have been following the build out permit and it looks like it should be issued any day.
Another poster found Rivian job postings for the ft myers area too.
I think it may be early in the summer...
Can anyone outline the proper sleep cycle to reset the chagers? I have been experiencing the same intermittent fast charger issues and a hard reset does not help. The next time it happens I will try a sleep cycle reset.
I know how to put the vehicle to sleep…do you leave it asleep for 20-30...
Just a quick update…
After waiting four weeks for the SC to start on my vehicle they finally “completed“ the repairs today. When I asked what they did to address the charging issue outlined above, their response was that all the logs indicated it was a problem with the stations and not the...
Sounds like I will “insist” on the CGM and the charge port and harness being replaced…
still don’t understand why it only happens when I am on a trip. Never an issue to DCFC near home. I started wondering if it is a software glitch related to the navigation being engaged.
Thanks all!
I have had similar experiences with a small twist. Back in February I did a three hour road trip to the miami airport. Couldn’t get the R1S to fast charge at any brand chargers (pre Supercharger access) before I got to the airport and after I returned a few days later. Ended up having to get a...
The deed is done.
I went with the bland side out! I actually like the look…not sure what that says about me but my wife says my favorite color is taupe.
Driving is real smooth on them. Very quiet on normal roads but a bit of hum on the interstate. Hopefully they will wear in…still quieter...
My original inclination was the subdued side but I am starting to lean towards the rip saw.
I have seen pics of the rip saw side on Rivians in this thread and others but haven’t seen any pics with a Rivian with the other side.
Sorry to hit you up before your morning coffee! :)
Naturally, I know that there is no functional difference. Nor do I expect everyone should do the same thing, although I like your idea of pink socks!
I was only curious what people’s aesthetic taste lean towards on the question!
Time sensitive question for those getting the Nittos! I am having them put on today after ordering them the day before yesterday…
Which side of the tire are you going to show?
This one? It’s considered more aggressive.
or this one? Which is more subdued?
What say you, Rivian community?
Sorry to wade into the puddle…
I am at 26k miles on my 08/23 R1S and it is time to replace the tires…I only rotated them once around 10k miles and my front passenger tire is getting close to bald! All of the other ones are just about to the wear bar. I hate Pirellis :)
I have been researching...
Here is a photo from June showing progress on the park. I assume this is the correct building as it matches the SC’s I have seen before and does not have the colorful fascade of the other buildings.
Not sure if they would need the whole
building (approx. 100k sq/ft) or if they would be sharing...
A little birdie told me the next Florida SC will be in Fort Myers in an industrial park currently under construction. Here is the layout of the park and the address:
I am being told they are taking building 1 but my source was not certain.
I have been seeing more and more Rivians in this...
