This is sad for me, I bought a new 21" from Rivian for a spare in my R1T. I paid retail! This is back when no one even had any tires! So, I bought with a Pirilie Scorpion Verde on it! about $1100.
I think a hundred dollar or so product could be offered that would fit the place. A locking one may double the price, but for some that would be a reasonable price.
I consider this to be my largest issue with the vehicle, therefore Rivian support. I have no answers, but I agree, I want results before something gets stolen from someones Truck or SUV.
I will make sure I lock the truck myself when I leave the truck when it has anything of value inside.
And with the torque available, vs the weight, the G force is Fun! But the where the tire hits the road is co$tly. Even without speeding, or screaching tires. Even without braking or punching it! Maybe we perfect and calibrate a bobble head "Gary" for the dashboard like the old Jesus statues...
The light from the charging door area itself is brite, at night my pupil is opened up for a dark garage, so the bright light has bothered me as well. No, I'm not starring at the headlights, I'm looking at the charger port to insert the cable.
I have considered putting some masking tape...
My 21" tire wear is fast, but even, Im @ 5,000 Ft. and garage kept. I point out that I may start out at 35 degree F. from my garage, and travel an hour to below 1,000 Ft. as well 70 degree F. and see 5 PSI maybe 6 PSI change. This is not avoidable, and seemingly no problem. My point is...
I wonder if auto does standard? the alignment is set for standard hight, not auto. I realize my wondering is a bit symantic, but the cost of tire wear is high, so I sue standard setting.
I found the front wearing faster than rear. I have, or had, OEM 21" scorpoins they suck, you are correct. The weight vs the power of the vehicle create pressure, where the tire hits the road! I live on a windy road and a steep road. The road is mostly over 10% slope and steeper. The power of...
I notice the absense of the negitive long threads complaining about Rivian and fears of bankruptcency doom n gloom. I appriciate the Rivian mobil crew and was amazed myself at the speed in wich they do what they do.
Thank you for the positive post, I suspect the stock priice will jump from...
I wonder if the power was gone, but the breaker not tripped. This would be the case if the power itself from the grid was removed but the connection to that grid still connected. My question is hypotehitical because we cannot simulate this so we must wait and see,
I am however greatful for...
I agree, the urban model is a bad one in an aoutomotive application. Especially big automotive. I am a rural mountain elevations, 5,000 ft. + with snow, I have a Rivian Truck for its high ground clearance. Parking buildings can charge from $3. to $90. in my direct experience. Regardless the...
I agree, but the "big Parking" interests need to build it and support it. That includes either stronger structures, or bigger parking spaces, their choice.
