  1. Help with insurance procedures - fender bender.

Since you choose the repair shop, there should be no force involved. Rivian doesn't do body work at their service centers, just mechanical work. https://rivian.com/support/article/certified-collision-centers is where you look for a nearby Rivian Certified Collision center. Pick one of them...
  2. Help with insurance procedures - fender bender.

That only applies IF he got the insurance info from the other person. If it was a bump and run, then he'll have to rely on his own insurance.
  3. Any chance of cloth seats?

I'd like cloth seats as well, but I still want them heated.
  4. R1 Gen 3 - Wish list

I'm not asking for him to eat the seats, just offer us the option to not sit on plastic.
  5. Removable tray design feedback — which would you choose?

Divided tray with hole would be my choice if I was looking for a tray. An idea; you could offer the Maximum space, no pull feature tray with a small hole, or dimple on the underside where a person could drill their own hole. Include a knob and screw and for people that want add a pull. That...
  6. UPDATE: New RAN charger in Portland Metro Area/Rivian Bridgeport Village Space location appears finished

I have 22" wheels and use my R1T as an "ON-road" adventure vehicle. I completely agree. I like that Rivian is putting in RAN chargers in Tacoma.
  7. R1 Gen 3 - Wish list

I get to be first to say it: CARPLAY! Other things I'd like: Glove box in the dash where they would traditionally be located. Built in cooler in the center console for cold snacks on longer drives. Real leather seat surfaces Clock relocated to left side of the screen in a larger font size...
  8. Buttons on steering wheels

I am and as the driver, I get to control the temp, even when I'm setting the temp to what I'm told is "correct". I don't necessarily get to choose the temp.
  9. Buttons on steering wheels

I don't want any passenger adjusting the temp in my truck.
  10. What’s the ONE piece of advice you’d give to a new Rivian owner?

That manual is a 2 margarita length read. Even if you didn't buy it because it's quick, like me, you should at least once put it in sport mode and have a go at 0 to 60, especially if this is your first BEV. Depending on what kind of spouse you have, leave them at home, or take them with you. I...
  11. Anyone using garage tiles under their heavy Rivian?

You don't have to sprinkle the colored flakes on the wet epoxy. My friend had his garage epoxy coated and told the guy skip the flakes. Having a solid light gray color makes it easier to find little things when you drop them.
  12. Gen 1 R1S quad got a silent 0-60 bump, was 3.1 now 3.0 on used R1S

I can't wait to find out with my R1T.
  13. 22" Inch Spare wheel cost effective options

You can get a 21" wheel at a lower price when people sell theirs to get 20" wheels.
  14. Rivian RCV electric ambulance "vanbulance" made for Grey's Anatomy

What I find harder believe is that Grey's Anatomy is in its 22nd season. That's like forever for a primetime TV show.
  15. Rear ended - What should I get checked on truck

You don't have to go to the Rivian service center. They don't do body work. Find your Rivian certified auto body repair shop here: https://rivian.com/support/article/certified-collision-centers
  16. Rear ended - What should I get checked on truck

I'd take it to a rivian authorized repair shop. They know how to handle stuff.
  17. R2 customer test drives start April 1 (according to insider)

Wow, I've flown on that plane.
  18. What R2 features are you most excited about?

Yep, that's the plan. I'd be happy with 20' x 30'. That would give me plenty of room to have a plasma CNC table.
