If I may ask, who are you using for this service? Also, how much are they charging for clear bra on just the front? I am considering doing this as well. Thanks!
If you can wait two weeks, buy the RoadShower from REI when it is 20% off in their Anniversary sale, and then you have a year to try it out. That is how I buy all my expensive sporting good equipment.
I asked my guide this question. You can’t buy 2 sets with the truck unless you get the Rivian tent (comes with a set) and then add another set from the adventure gear. You can always buy a set from the gear shop, but not at the pre-March 1 pricing.
I received a quote today to do black powder coating for $675 for all 4 wheels, including dismounting/mounting and re-balancing tires, but not including a clear top coat. Anyone know if that is a good price and what else I should I ask about?
Finance companies see those as add-ons, just like when a dealer sells you a service contract or gap coverage. They usually allow a small percentage above the base MSRP to cover add-ons, but the amount varies by lender. The issue is all about collateral.
Yep, I pressed my guide for more...
That's correct. My guide did that on Friday. He said that they will still honor the pre-March 1 pricing if you are in that group and made note of it in my account. However, since it is delayed "indefinitely," they can't have it as part of the purchase agreement.
The other issue he pointed out...
My first impressions are very favorable. It has a nice aluminum finish (looks a lot like a tool box if you ask me), seems well built with stainless steel handles, latches, and hinges, and is the largest 12V dual zone cooler I could find that will fit under the R1T tonneau. The app works...
I didn't, sorry. My guide just said that any changes would have to go through him. I suppose it will depend on the changes. I can't see how adding adventure gear would impact anything, while changing to max pack would. Things like changing color and wheels could impact timing, but that is going...
It may be worth asking your guide. I thought the 12V outlets were all supposed to stay on. What about the 120V outlets? Do they also turn off when the vehicle is off?
I emailed my guide last night and he called me this morning to confirm my configuration and address and then sent me the PBA to sign. However, he said this doesn't mean my delivery window has been moved up from July-Sep.
I just checked too and I also have a guide assigned! I have not been contacted either. Thank you for the tip! You just made my day.
I have Adventure package, red canyon, BM interior, and 21’s configured. My preorder date is Nov 2020 and I am in the July-Sep delivery window.
