I signed the BPA yesterday. If I take delivery next year, make under $300k, config under $80k, can I opt to take the NEW tax credit which is at point of sale? Or does the BPA lock me into the current credit which is upon tax return?
Thanks! What exactly excludes Rivian from the updated law if you skip the BPA? The sourcing of the battery? If your spec is around $70k would think it would qualify still?
I actually haven’t seen anyone provide a source. Just seems like speculation and I have no idea why or if it’s valid in anyway! I’m a 7/22 reservation dual motor standard everting no options. Assuming end of 23 early 24.
Lot of rumors and speculation regarding the BPA. I've heard some mention the BPA will only be valid for 22/23 deliveries and invalid beyond that. Any truth to that and if so is there a source?
“Signed” meaning you added your name and email to the fields then hit accept? And then received a generic order agreement without any personal information on it?
Right agreed. It’s more so a rough estimate in general how far out they are. I have another reservation from January with no solid ETA yet so I get it.
looks like new reservations don’t pick their setup anymore. And before you click confirm it says we estimate new reservations will deliver late 2023.
wondering what that means in terms of timeline. I got a late 2023 delivery comment when I placed my reservation this morning. My current lease is up 4/1/24 so anytime prior to that would be ideal.
Just reserved an R1T! Noticed they no longer ask you about your configuration? When we reserved my father in laws R1T earlier this year we had to chose options.
Yeah good point. Gotta place my reservation today! Side note saw my first lightning in person over the weekend. As expected way bigger than the Rivian. I liked more than a regular f150 but basically same thing.
