Oh I think I saw your dog but didn’t see this post or I would have said hello! It was fun chatting with other preorder holders and the owner, although I tried to leave the owner alone so he could talk with others who aren’t familiar with Rivian.

I am shooting to get there ~11:00 and I may be able to cruise by the service center as well. I’ll share if I see anything interesting.

I’m near Annapolis and will be making at least one other stop while in the area so I think I’ll meet you there. What time were you thinking of getting there? Also, have you been able to confirm an R1T will be there yet?

Thanks @kanundrum! It’s only an hour’s drive for me so I’m planning on going. Maybe I’ll cruise by the Rockville service center to see if there are other colors to see there.

I seem to recall others showing up at the plant and being told they can’t see anything. You could try but I think you’ll be turned away.

If anyone travels by frequently please post here if you see any trucks show up. I’m also interested in seeing some colors in person, e.g. Launch Green, Forest Green, and would make a trip over to stalk them?

Yes thanks @Joints4Sale for stopping by and for the pics! If they start filling up with R1Ts for delivery I may need to make a road trip down just to see the exterior colors IRL.

I think Rockville is a good location for supporting NOVA, DC, and the western shore of MD (except southern MD which will be covered by the Richmond center). Fingers crossed this site gets stood up quickly - I’m scheduled for an Apr/May delivery!

I’m really glad to se progress at this location but I live near Annapolis and this is a 137 mile/2 hour 45 minute drive from my house. Is this a practical location to support the DMV area? Seems like a stretch for me and even more so for anyone farther north.

Kanundrum has heard of some making appearances in the area this year for different government meetings. There were a couple in DC this past summer. There was another near me in Annapolis a couple of weeks ago but I didn’t hear about it until afterward - GRRR.
