I suspect this is already baked in but only accessible to service techs. As far as I'm aware, there's been no discussion of rolling this out to the public in a software update. Could be wrong, or could change.
There was someone on here in the early days who regularly drove to Mexico and had a number of posts about it. Don’t recall the username, but a deep dive search should bring something up…
Going on a short road trip to the Oregon Coast for a few days and looking for some highlight stops. Have two nights in Cannon Beach to start, and a few free days to meander south. The dunes is the furthest south we'd go. Any highlights to consider? Thanks! (Family of four). Not camping on this...
Yup, people have been asking for this one since day 1. I'd use it from time to time too. Haven't heard a reason why they haven't implemented it, seems like it would fairly simple and useful?
Have rebooted phone and app, but not the truck. @SANZC02 good call - I'll reboot the infotainment.
Unless I missed something, it just seems to have changed in the last week without a software update that I'm aware of (in either the truck or the app).
Am I losing my mind? My app lost the controls to turn on seat heaters, etc. It can only turn on the HVAC, can’t even adjust the temperature. I assume it’s user error, but what am I missing?
If you're going for best Cinnamon bun contest, you can stop the search in Vancouver. Grounds for Coffee on Commercial Dr. Best there is. Then you can spend the rest of the trip wishing you had bought more for the drive :)
I hadn’t considered this. It takes a couple of mins of driving for the TPMS to wake up and send, so no alert on start-up. I’m going to keep that in mind.
$4.75 in Vancouver, Canada. (In USD/Gal, onverted to today’s exchange).
Peaked around $7ish a year or two ago.
I pay 7.3 cents a kWh at home to charge (USD).
No brainer on “fuel” cost comparisons here!
Not applicable here as the OP isn't in BC, but for us - it would save you the deductible and possibly a points hit if you can prove it was a hit and run (even if they can't identify the other driver). Always good to have that footage.
