Yeah at first I was sympathetic but then I saw you were plugged in for 2.5 hours! I don’t think I’ve ever DC fast charged for more than 35-40 minutes. This sucks but you misread conditions and now you know and you’ll never do it again. If you ever find yourself DC fast charging over an hour...
Well I BOUGHT a truck and PAID for it 2.5 years ago and I WANTED a powered tonneau then but it was removed from the configurator. I have been waiting since I ordered to have the option and I ordered it the same day it went up in the gear shop. My install date is in December and I’m totally happy...
Yes, also broken for me since the early 26 betas, worked all the time before that. I was waiting to complain until the final release came out and it is still definitely broken. This has nothing to do with CarPlay. Hopefully Rivian will fix the iOS app soon as this is a very useful feature.
strange. When it happened to me the truck put itself in park when I stopped and then I couldn’t manually release the parking brake through the settings menu. Not sure if it’s related but I changed the ride height a few times and then was able to get it back in drive at least for a while...
they first thought it was a faulty brake caliper and replaced it, but the problem returned. Eventually they found a “soft set connector” in one of the modules. Once they fixed that over two years and 30,000 miles ago I have had no more problems.
Maybe they were trying to use a different cabinet from the others so there was no power sharing? I don’t see a problem with that especially if they are staying with the vehicle and willing to move if someone that needs an ADA spot arrives in the 25 minutes they are there. “Use last” is not the...
Visit the State of charge YouTube site and look at the fires caused by NEMA 14-50 plugs. As the first poster said, make sure it’s a high quality plug and correctly installed, or get a hard-wired EVSE.

I got a goal zero battery 1500x after my first trip with a Dometic fridge/freezer. I realized keeping the outlets on in the Rivian used a lot more power overall than the fridge was actually pulling (50-60 watts when active). So I got the battery for that thinking I could cook with it too...
Yes definitely call them. They were very proactive about getting mine fixed quickly. If you need to move it I had luck getting it to go into drive mode after messing with the ride height settings and drive modes. It was hit or miss but we were able to drive it up onto the tow truck and back...
And the workaround of just playing Apple Music through your phone temporarily is unbearable? I get that it’s annoying but doesn’t seem like that big of a deal.
I have had this happen maybe two times in 2 years and 27,000 miles. It has caused zero issues with drivability or safety when it happened. It has also happened in our Tesla. Would it be better if it it didn’t happen? Sure. But each time I’ve been happy that the driving systems were...
Yes I could have used conditioning on demand this last weekend. We have a lot of EVCS chargers in Oregon in more rural areas with no alternative. They don’t show in nav so it would be great to be able to turn it in en route to not mapped chargers. And other situations like you mentioned would...
