Totally. I've got some chips and scratches! I just wanted to clarify that Rivian touch up paint may still provide a good color match if properly prepped.
I've spent the weekend deleting the front license plate, stock spoiler, and rear wiper/washer from my Rx7. Also fixing a gouge in my wife's...
The term SUV has been thrown around a lot in this thread, but no mention of the term CUV. I thought all car like SUVs were CUVs... has the industry dropped that term?
I definitely see the MY as a CUV just like our CX5.
I always thought the big differentiator between the two is CUV = unibody and...
Damn. That last note i was all excited about until I saw is for gen 2. It's annoying having to plug in the charger at home, wait for it to go red, unplug and replug for blue light...
Hopefully they integrate it such that it doesn't degrade the get in and go current set up. Having to plug in my phone can go here even if it means lower quality audio:
Also, I don't want to have to have a CP/AA app to interface with my vehicle, and I certainly don't want that ugly CP/AA...
Brake assist doesn't step in when regen is too potent. It steps in when regen is reduced to help maintain the same level of slow down regardless of how much regen can be utilized.
Me when regen isn't on high:
One touch of the screen turns it down while driving...I know you're making a "ball and chain" joke, but I got hung up on that.
(Assuming you stay on the telemetry screen like I do)
That's where I'm feeling on the warranty is that it's not needed...every once and I while I get scared when I see people's suspension leaking. That's when I start to wonder if there is an Ext Warranty that is worth it.
Tonneau bound up and twisted in the track. I was able to push the slats back...
I would like to know this is well!
I passed 40k today. Only major issue I've had is my V1 powered tonneau failed last week... Otherwise it's been great and love the truck. I've even thought what I'd buy if it got totaled. Answer is another as low a mileage as possible '22. I love the extra...
I'm usually at like 80, but misfire is a good description.
Thanks. Unfortunately the method didn't seem to solve the issue. To clarify I'm also not using any adapters when it does it; my home charger is a Tesla with the J1772 plug rather than NACS.
Can't say I've had that! That would be really...
I've submitted feedback, and also reiterated it to CS when scheduling for my V1 tonneau that screwed up this week. Truck is a 22, vin 85XX.
It seems like since update .38.0 I've had the following issues. Anyone else experiencing them?
-Every time I plug in now I get a red ring and have to...
Yes, people do benefit, but those with the money benefit way more still. Technically the person that's making $10/hr is benefiting from the investment in the company, but they're struggling to make ends meet still at the end of the day. How many times more money are those investors making off...
Because you're a cool guy I copy-pasted the link into gemini. It's a silly concept that I guess works for the YouTube algorithm but not much else.
This video, titled **"EverDrive - Charge While Driving a Ford Lightning,"** by **Zachary Carpenter**, demonstrates a test of a system designed to...
Would be a great long term maintenance solution, but I see rivian just letting your R1 be bricked over supporting mods that affect their software's control over the vehicle. Now we're talking jailbreaking the software along with the suspension change . Which may be a required solution as these...
Definitely overpriced and odd sizing. My shirt was way more of an unflattering boxy cut than I was expecting even after looking at it in store, yet it still pulls at the arm holes when I reach forward.
This does hurt my faith in long term ownership for sure. Not that Rivian cares about the second, third, or later sale, in fact they'd rather you trash yours and buy a new one. You know, by far the most economical and ecological solution.
I have no interest in being tied to a Rivian service...
