Another day and zero updates beyond "we don't feel comfortable putting it in writing that your vehicle is not a fire hazard". Service had no issues telling me not to worry when this same vehicle was parked next to my wood shingled home so the level of doublespeak is troubling.

yes, They were stuck with Avis due to lack of an Enterprise site. In the grand scheme of things the Avis->Uber->service center was the least of my issues.

Still struggling with Rivian to even get my vehicle into service. The tow company picked it up a week ago but still not in service, let alone an initial diagnosis.

After a half dozen calls to Service, followed by some "thumb on the scale" escalation via former colleagues who are part of the Rivian Exec team, the Chelsea service center stepped up.
A sincerely first class customer service person offered to drive a replacement R1T to my home...
