When I tried to send a location earlier today, the screen to select which Rivian was blank and I was unable to send it.

I have multiple Bluetooth locks from the same vendor/app in my home and can easily open any of them without having to open my app. I don't think this issue is due to a limitation of BLE.

Yes sir. I ended up needing to use a Dremel to open it up a little so I could get the cover on.

I'm having a little trouble installing the surround. Anybody else get theirs? The bottom left is touching the surround and I can't put the back cover on because of it. I took the battery, motherboard, and screws out to see if there was any tolerance and it is tight. No wiggle room to move it up...

That looks like a compatible remote (I have the same at my parent's house). After the vehicle has learned the remote, hit the learn (radio) button on the opener, then press the garage button on the Rivian (LED should flash on the opener), hit the learn (radio) button on the opener one more time...

Can you post a photo of your remote? There's a certain remote that doesn't work and I had to get a different one on Amazon in order to pair it correctly.

I just keep it in Drive and it will not open.

Happens to both my R1S and T. Was able to charge fine for a year, then Rivian did an update to the vehicle which was causing the charger to disconnect and produce a charging error which would never resume unless you unplug and replugged. Then they released an update that would slow charging so...

I'm willing to bet that ChargePoint requires the chargers to be public so the dealerships jack up the prices to keep away the public so they can use it for their vehicles on the lot.

Wouldn't a heat pump be less effective the colder it is? And since the Rivian doesn't have one, the PTC heating element it does have would be better in sub-zero temperatures?

My local service center was able to get me a new fob programmed and they sent an Uber to deliver it to me. I'm sure it's possible for a key card to do the same. They did a "cloud provisioning" so it showed up on the vehicle as pending and I was able to pair it

I don't see what the problem is. It's not a sealed area and all the connections are water tight.

How is the frunk not secure anymore? You said if you leave your phone "out of range" everything is locked and inaccessible but once you bring your phone back you can open the frunk. Nobody outside has access to opening the frunk unless you're on top of it with your phone. I just tested it and...

Every vehicle I've owned that has a proximity key let's you open the doors or trunk without needing to separately use the fob to press "unlock" to open the vehicle. Why is everyone assuming this is an "issue"? This is finally how it should work.

Deal was back up for about an hour! I was able to snag one at 5:27pm ET! Now I gotta figure out what to do with 4 EVSE's now ?. Will use it for any visitors that need charging.
