I've always assumed there is no mechanical gear box, that it's OK to do this as long it's not at a extreme speed of changing direction. Have been doing this on my Model 3 for years. But I could be wrong.

So I placed my R1S order from the shops on Sunday, have a VIN and a delivery date for Sept 27. Completed most of my tasks expect insurance and finance. I haven't heard from anyone yet. Does it take over 4-5 days to get assigned a guide?

Did he finally figure it out and proceed with the 2022 amendment? Will be in the same situation in a few weeks.
