  1. Do the Guides earn a commission?

They essentially do part of the underwriting and purchaser liaison. Think commission in the sense of a flat rate payment per "deal"; not your standard dealership commission paid to salesmen. It actually surprises me that the thought is they don't receive something for getting deals to close...
  2. Do the Guides earn a commission?

Just curious if anyone knows how they're compensation is set up. I've always assumed commission was in play but from reading how many guides end up non-responsive this must not be the case.
  3. R1T Orders: Dec '22 - Jan '23 -- Status Room

Don't worry about it, snow mode has been released!!! :like:
  4. Official Rivian Email: Updates on Purchasing Adventure Gear -- Certain products will no longer be available in the configurator

I agree, not a fan of this. Not worried about having it/not having it financed but availability at time of delivery and like you said warranty.
  5. R1T Orders: Jan '23 - Feb '23 -- Status

My guide told me that the PPF option would not delay delivery...for what it's worth.
  6. R1T Orders: Dec '22 - Jan '23 -- Status Room

Yes this was my main concern as I rem reading somewhere it goes to 1mm to the edge (no panel removal or wrap for install). But it falling under Rivians warranty is why I may keep it...
  7. Happy with the Truck, But….

Dec 6th? That is ridiculous. Are they providing a loaner or have they already green lit a rental car? If the latter what $$ are they allowing?
  8. Lower insurance for Tesla > Rivian

Makes sense, am hoping Rivian has a fair trade for it to simply lower the tax burden. I don't expect to take delivery until middle of next year so not too worried about it either way. I really am overly impressed with the EV6; I did not expect to "like" a Kia and planned on using it simply as a...
  9. Lower insurance for Tesla > Rivian

This is good news, I currently drive an EV6 awaiting the R1T. The only thing that concerns me is that from reading reviews the R1T's driver assist seems terrible when compared to the EV6; I drive A LOT, back roads and highways... Side question, did you trade your EV6 into Rivian?
  10. Window Rolling Speeds

This. Auto up is dreadfully slow, manual hold is just slow.
  11. RED CANYON Rivian Photos

After much deliberation I've decided to swap to red. I was dead set on limestone until I saw blue in person. Then I saw red in person at the Venice Hub and have been torn ever since. I still love the rivian blue and limestone but am going canyon red, might as well stand out even more right!?!
  12. Lots of R1S at San Francisco Service Center

4 fresh ones (as of last weekend) at the Atlanta Service Center.
  13. My experience & data log - Daily Commute in R1T, 125-150 miles/day

I will be in the same boat as you when I take delivery. I am actually extremely interested to know how the truck is holding up as a "real" daily driver. Many cars that I've owned are solid for the first 5-15k but then creaks and/or small rattles creep in. How is the R1T holding up so far, is...
  14. My ongoing delivery mess

I saw a Ford Raptor at my local dealer that was demolished b/c it was damaged during transport. Double decker car hauler, Raptor simply bounced the whole way as they did not have it properly secured and the top was crushed, such a sad site to see. See it "should" be extremely rare, but...
