  1. MSW Type 52, black or gunmetal? My R1T is El Cap Granite.

Interesting. I checked online and the offset is 35mm. So 13mm off the spec. Did you use spacers?
  2. MSW Type 52, black or gunmetal? My R1T is El Cap Granite.

Good news about the strike. Their pay however was already ridiculously high. Here in Canada the average compensation being around 150K$ CAD.
  3. MSW Type 52, black or gunmetal? My R1T is El Cap Granite.

Hey @perrochon and @usulio , did you get an email about the delivery being postponed to end of November? That's a major issue for me, as I need to be on winter tires by December 1st (by law). I might need to cancel my order and search for something else.
  4. Which is softer, 275/65R20 126, or 275/60R20 116?

I currently have the 21" for the other 3 seasons, so diameter should be roughly the same. As a side note, I observed that the mileage on my R1T is roughly 2.5-3% less than the actual distance. For example when going to my parents place recently, a 196km trip (as reported by Google maps; but...
  5. Which is softer, 275/65R20 126, or 275/60R20 116?

I thought my winter tire setup was all decided, when I started reading about load rating. I realized that my first choice, the Blizzak 275/65R20, had a load rating of 126. Like pretty much all options in that size. On the other hand going to a shorter sidewall, like 275/60R20, gives the...
  6. MSW Type 52, black or gunmetal? My R1T is El Cap Granite.

I just pulled the trigger on the black ones, on tirerack. Estimated delivery date is 21st of October. The timing is good as I usually change my tires around the first week of November.
  7. MSW Type 52, black or gunmetal? My R1T is El Cap Granite.

Gunmetal might be nice but I wonder about the shade of grey compared to the truck. I saw pictures on Tirerack, but a real world picture would help is anybody has either color.
  8. 20" wheels recommendation? And how important is the offset?

I'm located in Canada, so shipping is quite expensive (177$ USD), and then there are extra fees (brokerage, duty) for 95$ USD, and then of course our federal and provincial taxes. It's coming to over 500$ CAD per wheel. I might still go with them however. Just wished I could find a closer...
  9. 20" wheels recommendation? And how important is the offset?

So, I started looking at wheels for my winter setup. Tires will be 275/65R20. On some sites (like pmctire) there seems to be a lot of choice, with the correct bolt pattern, size, width, but the offsets are all over the place. How much of a problem can it be to have let's say an offset of...
  10. Vehicle not "braking" in navigation, is this a known bug?

Thanks. Happy to know it seems fixable, although it doesn't seem to work for everybody. I'll create a service request for this.
  11. Vehicle not "braking" in navigation, is this a known bug?

When I use navigation, whenever I arrive to a stop or traffic light, the position of the vehicle as it appears on the map struggle to slowdown and stop. And so it will go a couple hundred feet further. This will trigger a route recalculation, then the position will readjust itself after a few...
  12. Not getting song selection when doing a search in Spotify, only albums, etc.

Just wondering if this is a known bug. In my browser when searching for a specific song I can select it and play it. But not with the app in my Rivian. Maybe a missing feature?
  13. Jounce Lines Replacement (Fixed Squeaky Suspension) + Other Service Notes

Quick followup on this. I finally contacted Rivian through the chat, asking if I could get a second opinion on the squeaking issue. The person asked me to enter the detail in a service request, including the video. And then instead of sending it to my local service center in Montreal, she'll...
  14. Opinions on Blizzak LT275/65R20 for winter?

As winter is coming I'm starting to look for a tire/wheel combo for the winter (I'm currently on the 21"). For tires, the Bridgestone Blizzak seems like a good option to me at a reasonable price. I'm curious to hear what people have to say regarding performance in the snow/ice, noise...
  15. Jounce Lines Replacement (Fixed Squeaky Suspension) + Other Service Notes

FWIW I received a survey link from Rivian for my first 30 days of ownership. My comments were harsh. Hope someone over there takes notice.
  16. Jounce Lines Replacement (Fixed Squeaky Suspension) + Other Service Notes

Is there something like a corporate support line where we can complain about this? I might try the chat tomorrow.
  17. Jounce Lines Replacement (Fixed Squeaky Suspension) + Other Service Notes

To me the squeak is like an old mattress with springs underneath. It's really like a metallic stretching/compression.
  18. Jounce Lines Replacement (Fixed Squeaky Suspension) + Other Service Notes

I think I have this issue as well but would like to confirm with forum members here first. The video is below. Crank up the volume and check out around 7 sec and 15 sec marks. It's actually noisier than what you hear in the video (phone didn't capture sound well I think). Already complained...
  19. Doing "truck things" in my new EV truck

Can you give more details when you mention "better road manners than the R1T"? Also how's the cabin noise compared to the Rivian. I currently have a R1T. But still have a reservation on a Silverado EV (and eyeing the Sierra for the better interior). Love the R1T except for the harsh...
  20. Just received an email to reserve my NACS adapter, but at delivery they mentioned they had requested it already.

I got my R1T not even a month ago. And back then the delivery person mentioned that I didn't need to request the adapter as they had made the request for me already. Now I just received an email to reserve my adapter. Should I? Or maybe I should just try the chat and check if my reservation...
