I was a bit optimistic it seems - I was expecting issues, but was thinking more along the lines of software glitches and UI quirks. Hardware was not on my list. However, maybe this isn't a hardware issue - time will tell.

Interestingly enough, I had a catastrophic failure this morning when I tried to leave for work. Got in touch with Rivian support in 30 seconds or less - did a infotainment reset and then a hard reset - Alexa worked this morning after both. Also, all the catastrophic drive errors went away too...

It's a bug IMO with the latest update. Sign in to Alexa. She works. Car goes to sleep, Alexa can't connect to the Internet. Sign out. Sign back in. Alexa works again. Car goes to sleep. Alexa can't connect to the Internet. Rinse repeat. Car goes to sleep = parked for long enough for sleep mode...

Do you use the free version? I wasn't sure if Fusion allowed exports for slicers with the free version.

I am leaning that way too. Could pick up 6 48v lifepo4 batteries and mpt/inverter combo for $10k. Gives you 30kwh with thousands of cycles. Calendar aging will kill them first. Adding the solar to it in a feasible way would make it exciting.

Experiencing the same. Sign in to connect to Alexa - Alexa works until the truck goes in to sleep mode. Then Alexa can't connect to the Internet. Sign out of Alexa. Sign in again. Alexa works until the truck goes in to sleep mode. Etc....

Thanks for sharing this - I have given up on fixing Alexa, but good to know it used to work. Amazon music seems to sound better natively via the R1T's Alexa and the pretty album covers show up versus being blank with Bluetooth phone connection.

That is quite the thread! Appreciate the share. Is the hood supposed to be flush at the side there? If so, I would imagine that is the issue detected - latched but not fully locked in place?

Popped my cherry on my first service call. Got in the R1T at the end of work day to see an error picture of the Frunk on the main dash. Looking at the error message icon in the top left of the infotainment screen shows "Hood latch not working" with an image and message to get service...

Can those that have done the ceramic tint share their IRER or similar ratings and if they noticed a difference? Example: Stratos 70 has a rating of 66 for its IRER rating, 96 for SIRR. The hope is to understand what is or isn't working based on the ratings for ceramic tints. IRER = solar...

Interesting - seems like your fan, compressor, or something is louder than expected. The climate components are loud for me, but it sounds like a loud hvac fan (e. g. wind noise), and not similar to your video. Had a 100 degree day according to the Truck temp the other day, and didn't experience...

If you turn off the climate, does the noise go away?

I have not heard a noise like that - is the climate on? Is the ride height changing?

Add me to the 1% that doesn't prefer Bluetooth for my music and would appreciate a higher fidelity option for a very well done stock audio system.
