I'm not a huge fan of this person, but on this, I definitely agreed with him. But I've only spent the majority of my life in government and national defense. What do I know? ;)
I hope so, too. I'm sure there's a good balance that can be struck that lifts everyone up. Regardless, it's going to be a very... interesting century as the world re-aligns itself.
One of the good things about the pandemic is that it seems to be getting our esteemed business and political leaders to refocus some of their efforts on our own industry and workers, rather than shipping everything off to China. Once things like national defense and core industries start...
That's my concern and why I'm currently sticking with the max pack for now. Like you, my R1T is going up in the mountains on 20" ATs, with the tent and the camp kitchen and whatever other bits and bobs I decide to stuff in it, all in sub-optimal weather. Is 314 miles going to be enough range...
That's one of the reasons I've shied away from Tesla this past year or so. Now that they're established and turning a profit, they've been cutting corners. Build quality issues, removing features (lumbar controls, radar, plug options for the charger ((for God's sake!)), poor customer service...
Ditto. I've got some money reserved for below $100 and plan to hold long once I'm there.
Also, holy crap, you probably have the coolest occupation on the forum.
It's pretty good when Quinn from Snazzy Labs, Ben Sullins, Doug Demuro, and Kyle Conner all say they want to get one. I'm quite happy with my deposit and my stock purchase now.
I hope the two dots in Colorado are Denver and Colorado Springs. That would be super convenient when I move back in a year or so.
Meanwhile, in Lompoc, the closest center is somewhere in L.A. I'm kinda hoping my R1T isn't ready until I'm back in Colorado. Kinda.
It just clicked in my brain that the 2012 Grand Cherokee I had was Granite Crystal Grey and I loved that color and that car. That's it. I'm set on El Cap now, since I can't get Launch Green. Stop looking at Rivian Blue dammit!
Yeah, the wood is the only thing I would change, though certain pictures make it look less washed out than on the configurator. I'll have to see it in person. Forest Edge is really growing on me, but $2k is a bit spendy, especially considering I'm already going for the Max Pack option.
Agreed. I just need to figure out what interior color I want now. I was going for Black Mountain, but Ocean Coast is growing on me. And Forest Edge would be nice....
Damn.
