That's more like it. Just a bit of random musing: Between the Supercharger network, EA, Rivian, etc., I think the long distance part of charging is mostly solved. Really need companies to start getting level 2 everywhere to make EVs the ideal choice for almost everyone.

If you're wanting to get an R1S, I'd pre-order now. You're probably looking at mid-year next year at the earliest, the way things sound. I doubt we'll slip into 2023, unless the supply chain issues are still ongoing next year. The deposit is fully refundable, so if the date slips further than...

Not too often, but the big draw of the R1T at the moment is the Max Pack. I've got some grand adventures planned and the extra mileage is important. Plus, the kitchen is simply too cool to pass up. :cool:

I would love to see Rivian work a deal with the NPS to get Waypoint chargers at every National Park location. Talk about a huge win for EV adoption. Even if they have to do a deal where other cars can charge on it, it would still be worth it, just to keep spurring EV adoption.

Talked to CS this morning and they confirmed if you get the All-Weather mats, you still get the regular chiliwich mats as well. In case anyone was wondering.

Forest Edge on Forest Green seems a bit much, I agree. I do think that Forest Edge looks better in the R1S than the R1T for some weird reason. Though I was playing around with the configurator at work today and now I'm thinking Ocean Coast on Compass Yellow would be amazing... Argh!

I've got the Forest Green in my avatar, but I've already switched to El Cap Granite. It might be a little boring, but the recent videos on Twitter make it look sharp. I'm sure once they start rolling off the line and we get some solid YouTube time with them, I'll be able to make an "educated"...
