I think someone mentioned in this forum that I’m their call with Support. They were told that in fact a fix was in the firmware update. But I’ve only seen one mention of that.

I have connect+ and cannot get Spotify controlled by Alexa even after reset. I checked my account based on your post and it's definitely active. In fact I may fight for some $ back until they get it to work. Spotify was the main reason I got it.

Weird it wants me to do Red Bluff to Weed on SC skipping RAN. I reckon there's some reason in the algorithm. I'll probably just manually tap on the RAN if this kicks in precondition. Wouldn't mind saving some $ and use Rivian Adventure Network.
That's an interesting tip. I haven't had the adapter on a road trip before and the only RANs I've been near were on the way to Arizona. This next trip up the 5 have a lot more RAN along the route otherwise I'd be fine with Tesla SC.
