Same thing happened to me in the 90s, but luckily a cop rolled up quickly and the driver repeated his lie to the cop. I watched as the cop examined that fool's bumper, them gave him a very hefty ticket. I don't think the same thing would happen these days. There aren't any cops left in Seattle.

Okay. I bought the R1T not thinking it could handle V2H. I don't recall that being promised, and I assumed it would only be in future vehicles. I'm not fond of subscriptions but I would pay it for V2H functionality. I guess it just depends on what you think you're entitled to.

They're conceptually related in that Rivian probably wants V2H to be a subscription feature, as with music streaming through their data provider instead of your phone's. Rivian might even be waiting to enable V2H after the subscription service is operational.

I had seen that before before when I left my key fob inside, and it seemed like useful behavior. I'm not sure what the point is of the behavior you described. Good to know though.

I loved the proximity auto lock on exit with my 2015 Tesla using just the key fob. I never used PaaK or proximity unlock with the fob.
