Got my R1T ! Picked up in Buffalo Grove on Saturday. 7 weeks after order.
Have an electrician coming next week for my home charger.
Love it !
See ya around !
My sales advisor said they were also planning a service center for Madison, and that they are going to do demo drives from an east side Madison coffee shop.
yes, was thinking I would need something in the bed. If I remembered to, I'd put a tarp in the bed of my Sportrac - it also had a couple floor cubbies in the bed that would clog and have to be cleaned out - which was a pain.
I was blown away on my test drive, never thought I'd fall in love with another vehicle after the Sporty, The R1T was really love at first sight. I do some 'truck things' landscaping materials, dirt, mulch, a little lumber, will tow a chipper or utility trailer short distances...
I have an R1T Dual Max on order and hoping to get it soon. My current truck is a 2007 Ford Sportrac with over 264k miles on it and I will have have owned for 19 years in November. Love it and would keep it if it wasn't rusting out. Have only had minor or routine repairs. Buying any EV...
I do not, I have gotten 2 emails which were just acknowledging my order, and other that was some generic information about the purchasing process.
I am concerned now with the Factory retooling, that it will not be 8-12 weeks, but at least a month more.
wondering if I shouldn't have...
I ordered a Dual Max on 8/9 and they said 8-12 weeks - basically October.
Could have gotten one sooner if I had compromised on options/color, but spending this much, will order exactly what I want. No problem waiting a bit.
Darn, I am torn between just getting one now, or waiting to see how the R2 fits. If I did a 3 year lease, at the end I could see what R2 is like and go from there.
Good to hear, I do have friends with Chevy Bolts and they have had range concerns during the winter - sub zero type weather. They also have a much smaller battery.
Hello Wisconsin! I have an R2 reserved, but I don't think my current vehicle will make it that long without major work.
Thinking about going with the R1T, which is more like what I have now than the R2, so may be a better fit for me. I have not scheduled a test drive yet, but planning...
That will happen to me if I only crack or open the rear window. My 2007 Sportrac has a drop rear window and sunroof - I usually have to crack a front window or sunroof if I have the rear window down. Anxious to see how that works in the R2
