I could swear there was a video from Rivian I watched recently where they mention it runs a custom version of Android OS. (I'm looking for it) If that means the possibility of having the PlayStore like Volvo does, I would be VERY happy.
Just got out of the chat with Rivian. I asked if the charge port is manually operated or if you'll be able to open/close it from inside the vehicle. I was told, "The charge point access door is powered on all Rivian vehicles."
Things like this, the fact that I pre-ordered late, and the fact that the 400+ mile variant comes out starting January 2020, I went with the LE in the hopes to get it by mid 2022.
I really hope you can open and close the charge port door from the screen. Have they said anything about that?
In my BMW it's manual so you can't do either and there have been many times where I had to lock then unlock then lock then unlock my car before the charge port finally unlocks.
