I could swear there was a video from Rivian I watched recently where they mention it runs a custom version of Android OS. (I'm looking for it) If that means the possibility of having the PlayStore like Volvo does, I would be VERY happy.

The app can be one button that opens/closes your charge port door and ill be happy.

Just got out of the chat with Rivian. I asked if the charge port is manually operated or if you'll be able to open/close it from inside the vehicle. I was told, "The charge point access door is powered on all Rivian vehicles."

Yeah, but that guy just got a free convertible. That seems like a win in my book!

I want to buy a mountain bike. If Rivian made one, I'd go for it.

I would love a factory pick up. I would only need to stop 2 - 3 times max so it would be a fun drive!

Things like this, the fact that I pre-ordered late, and the fact that the 400+ mile variant comes out starting January 2020, I went with the LE in the hopes to get it by mid 2022.

I took the measurements from Rivian's site with the bed down to see how things would fit to scale. Here are some examples:

I really hope you can open and close the charge port door from the screen. Have they said anything about that? In my BMW it's manual so you can't do either and there have been many times where I had to lock then unlock then lock then unlock my car before the charge port finally unlocks.

I plan on getting the 22" Sport as part of my config, but then buying the 20" Allterrain for some offroading fun.

Good thing is, if it doesn’t, they can add it via a software update.

I would love it if I could go as far as to say, I want to drive to some destination 500 miles away and stop for coffee at this place 80 miles away and it gives me that as a path direction with a stop to charge also included. I hate when I am on the way somewhere and need to make a quick stop...
