Not that Rivian needs another thing to execute on, but just came across the US Army’s Climate Strategy and GM Defense’s Silverado EV-based Infantry Squad Vehicle. Took a look at it and just wondered if the R1T would’ve provided a more capable base.
I assume there’s plenty of alignment between...
Didn't realize Rivian shipped it until it just showed up at my door. My vehicle is still a few weeks out. Anyway, I'm going to go the Nema 14-50 route so won't be installing this hardwired charger. The box is unopened. Giving someone a shot at it before I opt to return it to Rivian.
Meanwhile, going to follow up on the mirror tap. But for my purposes I want a USB-C end.
I was pointed to this, opting for dual ends to give me some optionality, hope the power source in that mirror can run 15w x2 if necessary:
DC 12V/24V to 5V 6A 30W Dual Type-C USB C Converter DC-DC Buck...
@CO-rayman, could you let me know which fuses you attempted? Sounds like you tapped into an always-on one and will be moving to one that isn't.
You also mentioned that the fuse tap wasn't matching up. In another thread, folks mentioned that the fuses Rivian uses are non-standard automotive. For...
Just stumbled on this. Was going to hardwire my dashcam to the passenger fuse panel. Should I assume a standard kit like this won't work as in none of the included connectors will fit? https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0B19LGTF9/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Thanks for the heads up! Just grabbed one too. Heh originally was going to get the Rivian all-weather mats, cargo cover, and crossbars. At this point, it might just be the crossbars.
Thanks for the recs, going to also give this Brica a shot:

I'm hoping to do the same, put two car seats next to each other. One forward facing, one rear facing. Then use the 1/3 side of the middle row for access to the third row. Will know in a few weeks =T.
Same question, curious as to how they stay attached when seats are up? Velcro, straps?
Almost pulled the trigger on the Rivian mats but saw @kanundrum post his review on a FB group then did a search here for additional reviews which resulted in this thread.
Looking to purchase the whole set...
I've been wanting to go to the one in San Clemente, saw on FB the one last weekend had a ton of nice supercars. For those interested, Period Correct is hosting something tomorrow morning from 7am–9am in Costa Mesa then holding their grand opening later that morning:
I'd say let's just start with scheduling the first one and see how it goes from there? Might make sense to just append to one of the many existing OC Cars & Coffee events already.
Personally, interested in having more experienced owners around so I can quickly accelerate my learning outside of...
Don't bother changing it. It's likely that you'll get shop access soon where you'll be able to choose your ideal configuration. Even if your number gets called before shop access, you can update then.

How do you know so much about my daily ritual / upcoming tasks?
Adding the following:
Compile an updated delivery inspection checklist based on the existing ones
Additional purchases:
Add-on dashcam and figure out mirror tap options (hearing the vehicle's dashcam isn't the best quality)...
