I’m in the same boat. Signed my PBA this Wednesday, and just twiddling my thumbs since then. But my Guide did say she was “feeling really good” about next week, so hey, there’s that!
I received a text from my Guide this morning that my vehicle is in production! 4-6 week estimate, but when I pressed on that, she said it was a “conservative estimate intended to not over-promise on delivery times”
So fingers crossed I’m not too far behind @AdamL and @godfodder0901 !
I’m not gonna argue details of the actual issue (that’s been covered in depth in just about every other thread at this point)
I can’t speak for everyone else who’s still planning on completing their purchase, but for me, I don’t see how it helps anyone for me to cancel my order. I don’t trust...
^ Pretty much this. I’m not affected by the price hike so my opinion is less relevant, but at either price point I feel like the R1T is a good enough value that I’m sticking with it
Right? Like, it’s totally understandable to be pissed off. But calling people who still want their trucks “scabs” or threatening/implying that your truck will be damaged as some petty act of vandalism is just low
Be pissed off, but be rational about it. Burning letters or harassing other...
This probably won’t come as a surprise, but I fully intend on carrying through with my purchase.
That being said, the way they handled this sucked, 100%, and I can’t imagine how much it would suck to have your price go up by 20% without any warning.

So I guess whatever filter they're using to decide when someone is "in the final steps of completing your transaction" let us pass through, wallets unmolested.
I was told on my test drive that if the Kitchens/Tents/etc aren't ready by the time you're scheduled for delivery, you'll just get the truck without them. The service center will then follow up to arrange pickup/install when the accessories are available
The Negative Nancy Brigade will always find something to whine about. They'll have the truck in their driveway and still find a way to accuse Rivian of some sort of treachery
