I had a similar experience with RJ reaching out to me directly (on a Sunday, no less). I agree that they are keenly aware of the issues, are focusing resources to address them, and feel pretty badly about all this. After dropping the ball initially, it seems they are working hard at fixing this.

Yeah, this is why I hesitate to self-register. Is Rivian competent enough to provide me ALL of my state’s required documentation to make the self-registration “seamless”?

I agree 100%. I am in MN. Took delivery of R1T 8 weeks ago and VIN is not even registered with the State DMV. Took delivery of a new ICE vehicle AFTER the R1T and received plates and title in a week. Leads me to believe DMV is not to blame here. I’ll also stop whining … for now lol.

Yeah I received this as well. Can anyone speak to the “seamless” self-registration and refund option? Rivian makes a nice truck but their backoffice operations are a complete s-show. Forgive me if I’m a bit skeptical that this will be “seamless”.
