  1. Rivian / Nationwide insurance off-road coverage

Hi all! I’m looking to switch to Rivian Insurance. One of the reasons is that Nationwide, according to the Rivian Insurance agent I spoke to, doesn’t exclude off-road incidents. Waiting for a call back to get further clarification but I’m curious if anyone on here that has Rivian Insurance...
  2. Portable charger and adapters will only be free in certain states (for R2).....

Even if it is, states like MA will hold them responsible and require they honor it.
  3. Don’t buy a Rivian and why? SORRY!!!!

I never had my gas paid for on a rental.
  4. What is this clicking sound?

For context I’m at 41k miles. I’ve not had any issues before with the half shafts or suspension. I was coming home tonight and while going through one of the three roundabouts in my neighborhood I heard this. I pulled over to check my tire to see if I picked up some metal debris from the road...
  5. lost small snake in seat back

I don’t know for sure but I believe some of the bolts are below the rear window under the trim where the child seat anchors are. The others I believe are under the trim for the storage tub. Look up some of the write ups for sub installs and you should at least find some of what you are looking...
  6. Current charging costs?

When did BCHydro start installing the 400kW? I drove from Portland to Tofino a few years ago and they were still mostly 50kW with a few 150kW in Vancouver metro. Are they planning on putting them North towards Prince Rupert&White Horse?
  7. New Rivian Gear: R1T Bed Extender, R1T Molle Panels, Off-Road Readiness Bundle

Nobody is denying that shipping costs are high. Evsportline’s quoted shipping costs are still on the higher end of retail rates and they definitely are not paying retail rates. They also are charging separate for insurance. A single wheel does not cost 250 unless you walk into a UPS store...
  8. Current charging costs?

I haven’t seen a huge jump I drove up to Seattle and back a couple weeks ago and they were the same they’ve been the last two years. I’m driving to Boise tomorrow and all those chargers on 84 are the same they’ve were last summer. Even the ones in Central Oregon that are essentially the only...
  9. Honda cancels its three US-made electric vehicles: The Ohio-made 0's and Acura

I’d love if we got PS remote play native in Rivian. My portal does well even though the truck is only 4G.
  10. GOAT Fabrication Rock sliders

Hi All, I’m looking at purchasing these soon but my problems are two fold. 1) I don’t have a breaker bar or torque wrench. 2) I also don’t have a garage with enough space to do the work. I’m curious who in the PNW(Portland metro specifically) has these sliders and has installed themselves...
  11. Employees receiving R2 first. Does this forum have any Rivian employees? Will/Can they answer questions?

Is the discount really that much? I already have an R1T and acquaintance offered me his if I want a Gen2 or R2. I figured it was 6/7k max.
  12. 100K miles and still running like new

Good to know. I only worry about the seat foam. I have 40k on mine and it already feels like it’s breaking down. The Range Rover I had before this lasted 13yrs before I replaced it. Granted the captains chair in that was a bit more LazyBoy-esque.
  13. 100K miles and still running like new

    How’s the interior holding up?
  14. California For Sale: 20” California Dune Wheels + OEM Tires, TPMS!! $4250

I think the lack of availability of a 5th one makes it difficult as well. They aren’t listed as an option for full size spare on the gear shop. @sarugby4life I can offer you 2500. Hopefully you can get more but just wanted to put it out there. It’d be a couple weeks before I could come down to...
  15. Options for R1T Tailgate Pad in California

I’m in Oregon if your family isn’t closer. I’d be willing to take it to UPS for you if the shipping would be cheaper. Feel free to DM me.
  16. 2027 BMW i3 EV revealed with 440 miles range

I don’t know, still to this day nobody really likes the E60, E65, E90/92 generations design-wise. That’s why the F10 basically went back to an updated design of the E39. The F22 and F87 were the only bright spots in their time because like the F10, it was essentially an updated/modern E30...
  17. Starlink Standard Kit for $175!

Oh, I’m an idiot. I didn’t look at the date of your post. Just the reply lol my bad.
  18. Starlink Standard Kit for $175!

Shows 350 for me? Maybe if I visit the site a few times over the next few days I’ll get the same deal. Nice snag though!
  19. Cross Canada Adventure - With Hounds!

I looked at driving through Canada in the winter for the challenge but the gaps in charging between western Ontario and eastern Manitoba were close to the limit range-wise. The inbetween L2s at camp spots are closed until mid spring. spring summer you should be okay though. From what I remember...
