When did this happen? Rivian advertised free LTE for life? Legit question as i do not recall this. They had pitched some membership idea (at a cost) then announced they would break out the services (at cost) and announced a while ago that free-LTE would, as expected (I thought), end.

A leased car isn’t borrowed - you are paying (a lot) for its use. Drive and charge it how you like w/o being abusive. There is little point to always charging to 100%, so don’t but don’t hesitate to when there is a need.

Have an Apple Watch? Set up a shortcut and use Siri to run said shortcut. I can’t say its great as you need to move your wrist within range of your face, but it works.
